Utusan Kata Husam Beri RM350k pada Kickdefella
Husam Musa pula menafikan dengan berkata:
Until today, I don't have that much money in my bank account. It would be stupid to give away that big an amount to someone like him because I have never had that much money in my life, said Husam, who is also a Kelantan state exco member.
Kita jangan lupa bagaimana Kickdefella menuduh Tok Guru makan rasuah.

Anwar applies for a new trial on sodomy charge...
Just four days before Anwar Ibrahim begins his defence against the sodomy charge, he has applied to replace the current Justice Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah with a new judge to rehear his trial.Anwar claimed that Zabidin had prejudged and demonstrated bias in ruling that the prosecution had made a prima facie case against him.
This ruling denied him of a fair trial, which is guaranteed by article 5(1) of the federal constitution, said the opposition leader in his application filed at the Kuala Lumpur High Court today. Anwar was accompanied by his wife and PKR president Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, together with his lawyers Karpal Singh and Sankara Nair, to file the application this morning at the Jalan Duta court complex.
In his ruling last month, Justice Zabidin stated that Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, who has alledged that he was sodomised by his former employer Anwar, is a credible and truthful witness.
He had truthfully and without embellishment or exaggeration in his evidence narrated in minute detail how he was sodomised by the accused on the date and at the place stated in the charge. I find him to be a truthful witness and his evidence is reliable and if accepted would establish all the facts required to prove the charge against the accused, he said.
Karpal told reporters that the ruling showed the judge had made a prejudgment before the trial concluded, thus nullifying the calling of the defence.
We want a new trial because a fair trial is not shown under these circumstances, he said.
Defence an 'empty formality'
Karpal pointed out that section 182A(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code stipulates that! the jud ge must consider all the evidence to decide whether the case has been proven beyond reasonable doubt at the end of the trial, not at the close of the case for the prosecution.
All he is required to do (at this stage) is to find out whether there is a prima facie case without going to the question of truth. (The truth) is something which has to be deferred until after all the evidence is adduced, he explained. The court fixed next Monday to hear the application before the sodomy trial resumes.
In his application, Anwar cited several case laws stating that the court shall consider all the evidence adduced before it and decide whether the prosecution has proved its case beyond reasonable doubt at the conclusion of the trial.
Your honour had made a prejudgment in accepting the testimony of SP1 (Saiful) who is the prosecution's main witness as 'truthful' testimony without listening to my testimony which had been revealed as an alibi during cross-examination of SP1, read the application.
He added that the prejudgment had made the calling for the defence an empty formality.
This is Anwar's third attempt to get Zabidin to recuse himself.
Abuse of the legal process
The first application against Zabidin was made in February last year for not issuing a warning to Malay daily Utusan Malaysia after complaints were raised by the defence team. Another was filed last November following allegations that the judge had threatened lead counsel Karpal Singh with contempt.
This was after the defence lawyer had said the judge was out of line with a Supreme Court decision by not allowing an expert witness to supply documents. Anwar withdrew the first application, while the court threw out the second.
Karpal denied that the third application is an abuse of the legal process.
There is no such thing as abuse of process. We have every right to do so. Datuk Ser! i (Anwar ) is just exercising his legal rights, he said.
Anwar is charged with sodomising Saiful at the Desa Damansara condominium between 3.01pm and 4.30pm on June 26, 2008. This is his second sodomy trial since 1998, though he was acquitted of the earlier charge on appeal.

Pemilihan Pemuda. Tepat Kata Tulang Besi
AZMAN SHAPAWI KENA BUANG, SHUHAIZAN KAYAT KENA MAIN
KEGAGALAN PEMUDA MEMPOPULARKAN SHUHAIZAN KAYAT
http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
GENG PERPADUANG CEMAS
Perkembangan-perkembangan ini amat mencemaskan GENG PERPADUANG. Rombongan dihantar untuk memujuk Tantawi dipacu oleh Ustaz Idris Ahmad dan Ustaz Bakar Chik. Akhirnya Tantawi bersetuju untuk terus memimpin Pemuda PAS Pusat.
Selesai satu perkara, timbul pula masaalah baru.
AZMAN SHAPAWI KENA BUANG, SHUHAIZAN KENA MAIN
Baiklah kita sama-sama memenangkan YB Firdaus.
Wallahualam

Crusaders for Cruelty
FMT LETTER
From Shenaaz Khan, via e-mail
Rulers often give a rather realistic imitation of altruism. They purge pluralistic promises to mask their innate ruthlessness. In Malaysia, prominent among the false whiskers wearers is the Department of Veterinary Services. Of all the malingering and slothful government agencies, the DVS has proven to be amongst the most ineffective and worthless of the lot.
The perfect rot that they are, they appear to also be the most competent of liars. So marvellous is this prowess that theyve consistently used it for decades to detract, defuse and dictate the welfare of animals in this inhumane country. With their moribund state of practices, dwindling with obsolesce, they have made dead sure that almost all animal abusers, animal killers and animal neglecters enjoy punitive immunity and eternal freedom.
Of course their blatant ineptitude has been aided by a government and system that thrives on corruption and cruelty. Dr Abdul Aziz Jamaluddin, the Director General of the DVS, is undoubtedly the proud product of such a government. He is utterly useless, besmirched and ever ready to cool simmering public opinion by spewing media friendly untruths!
Case in point is the supposed BAN on dog shooting in Malaysia. In November 2010, following the ghastly council killing of a pet dog in Ipoh, Aziz smugly announced a ban on dog shooting in Malaysia. Animal lovers celebrated with hopeful hurrahs. How ignorant they were for Aziz was yet again doing what he does best- telling a barefaced lie. Truth be told, the ban merely applied to DVS officers. (Note: DVS officers have not shot dogs since rabies was eradicated some 50 years ago).
The ban, however, DID NOT apply to council dog catchers, whom many a decent Malaysian would recognise as monstrous murderers of innocent animals. Alas, amidst his grand announcement and nauseating smirks of accomplishment, Aziz failed to ooze out this vital piece of i! nformati on. So for all intents and purposes, the dog shooting ban was no ban at all!
Thus, the statement by Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Noh Omar on a shiny smashing new law holds very little promise for animals of this country. New and improved laws with enhanced sentences and fines are worthless without competent and impartial enforcement of said laws! But competence and impartiality is clearly beyond the skill set of the Malaysian government, hence their unrelenting reluctance to act against real criminals committing real crimes.
The continued barbarianism perpetrated by councils and individuals speaks volumes of the governments effectiveness in combating cruelty.
Periodical rhetoric on animal welfare, be it at open dialogues or closed door meetings, can best be described as political posturing and has no real value or worth.
The Serdang kitten killer, the poodle abuser and the Batu Pahat Council dog catchers, all of whose hideous acts were videotaped, are still at large. Despite such gripping evidence, the DVS and the Attorney Generals Chambers seem to think bringing these criminals to book a rather superfluous exercise. And so these monsters continue to roam our streets, unpunished and unrepentant. And the grisly plight of animals remains unchanged.
With Noh, Aziz and their repellent gang of callous colleagues at the helm of animal protection laws, cruel councils and animal annihilators will be allowed to further nourish the inhumane tide engulfing this country. And the crusaders of cruelty shall continue their wickedness with a wink and a nod from the powers that be.

RM77 per month EH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes people in EPU, Prime Ministers Department and the Prime Minister claimed that 75% of 27 million Malaysians are NOT affected by the hike of 7% in electricity.
My friends and I have been asking people we meet till our mouths run dry, how much do they pay for electricity each month. From my side I have spoken to 63 people and my friends a total of 235 people. All the replies were RM200-RM450 each month. Each and everyone claimed that their meters were changed from 2010 -2011 and since then the rate had double, similar to mine.
In the remote villages of Perlis, Kelantan, Sarawak and Sabah there are folks who pay less than RM77 per month, for their utilities. But to a growing town RM77 per month is unheard of.
We pray for the R.A.H.M.A.N myth.
Scorpene scandal: 'Show us your passport, Najib'...
PKR today called on Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to "come clean" on his travels in 2002, following claims of a "mysterious third person" jet-setting with at least one of his known associates in connection with the controversial Scorpene submarine deal.Party secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution said the onus was on Najib to prove he did not have a hand in the negotiations, since as mounting evidence being revealed in the French courts narrows the focus down to the premier himself.
Saifuddin (right) said it has now been established that the estimated RM6.27 billion deal between the Malaysian government and French company DCNS was brokered by Najib's close associates, including his one-time adviser Abdul Razak Baginda and Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) chief Lodin Wok Kamaruddin.
Suaram, he said, had revealed that Razak, along with murdered Mongolian translator Altantuya Shariibuu and an unknown third person, had travelled to Macau in connection with the submarine deal.
"One of them is already dead, one has been charged in court. One more is still alive and could be holding a high position... we don't know, but we will know when the trial starts," Saifuddin said at a press conference at the PKR party headquarters in Petaling Jaya.
Suaram revealed last week that a French probe onto the submarine the deal had unveiled that an unknown third person had travelled with Razak and Altantuya in 2002, in connection with the submarine purchase.
However, Suaram did not disclose the places the trio visited, nor did it indicate who the mystery third person could be. Suaram director Cynthia Gabriel said it was "still too early" to determ! ine the individual's identity.Who's the mystery Male-Y?
PKR vice-president Tian Chua, who was also present, said Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi may not be the right person to testify on the identity of the mystery third person, since Najib was defence minister at the time of the submarine purchase and would therefore be privy to the details at the time.
I don't think Zahid was privileged to know the travellers. The then defence minister is in the best position (to identify) this mysterious person... we could call him Male Y if you like, Tian Chua said, jokingly referring to the Male Y DNA strain highlighted in PKR adviser Anwar Ibrahim's on-going second sodomy trial.
Saifuddin also urged the government to clarify contradictions in its own explanations on the 114 million Euro (RM495.9 million) payout to Perimekar for services rendered. He said that Amaris, a subsidiary of DCNS, revealed during the probe by the French that the Malaysian government paid out the sum as commission to Perimekar - totally opposite of the government's announcement in 2006 that Amaris paid the money for Perimekar's coordination and support services in the deal.
Tian Chua pointed out that the people have every right to know who made the payment to Perimekar and the purpose of the payment, since this aspect of the deal had nothing to do with national security.
This is not a national security issue in terms of the functions of the Scorpene submarines. We are not dealing with the security aspects, we are dealing with the finance part, which is of public interest, he said.

Pakatan Rakyat Memerlukan Abang Mat Untuk 2 Tahun Mendatang Ini

Scorpene scandal - 3rd mystery man is Najib's buddy...
Among them is Lodin Wok Kamaruddin(right), who heads the Armed Forces pension fund - the Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT).
French freelance writer Cline Boileau, in an investigation, found that Lodin Wok is Boustead Holdings Bhd deputy chairperson.
LTAT and Boustead control 20 percent Perimekar, while KS Ombak Laut Sdn Bhd holds the remaining 60 percent stake. Perimekar had acted as the go-between for the procurement of two French-made submarines by Malaysia's Defence Ministry, from which the company allegedly made RM534.8 million in commission.
Coincidently, Lodin Wok also sits on the board of Affin Bank Bhd - one of Perimekar's bankers.
"What would implicate Lodin Wok in the alleged 'Scorpene scandal' currently under probe in Paris is that the businessman is one of the five directors (in Perimekar) together with Mazlinda Makhzan, Rozana Abdullah Meili, Abdul Rani Mohd Hussin Abdullah and Mohd Hussin Tamby," said Boileau.
Mazlinda (right in photo), a former magistrate, is the spouse of political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda, a close associate of Najib, who was then deputy prime ! minister and defence minister, and was the minister in charge of the procurement of the submarines.Abdul Razak was released from a 2006 murder charge of Altantuya Shariibuu, a Mongolian national who is believed to be a translator for the multi-million ringgit submarine deals.
Two of Najib's bodyguards have been found guilty of murdering her in a jungle clearing in Shah Alam, and her body blown up with C4 explosives. The duo have since been sentenced to death. Najib has strongly denied any link to the murder and has taken an oath on the Quran in a mosque to prove his innocence.
Perimekar's sole purpose
Lodin Wok has nevertheless downplayed his involvement in Perimekar, arguing he was a director in the company as a representative of Armed Forces pension fund.
Furthermore, he reportedly told Boileau, he had resigned from the company board on July 1, last year. This was the same time the company had completed its contract with the government upon the delivery of the two Scorpene submarines, said Boileau.
According to the French journalist, Perimekar is suspected of being created for the sole purpose of distributing a RM500 million commission between Malaysian and foreign beneficiaries.
"What was highly suspect was that the company, registered in 1999, defines its activity as 'marketing, maintenance and other activities related to submarines and surface vessels'," said Boileau.
Its financial statements, added Boileau, revealed that the Malaysian government as Perimekar's "single customer". Last year, the company which had reportedly received millions of ringgit in commission posted huge losses, she said.
"Has the golden age of Perimekar gone?" queried Boileau.
Uneven financial performance
Boileau also discovered that the company registered an uneven financial performance from year to yea! r. For e xample, while the company reported a net loss of RM8.2 million in 2003, it declared a net profit of RM24.7 million the following year, she said.
In 2008, Perimekar also became a group with two small subsidiaries - Prima Laksana and Gagah Nirwana.
"Between 2009 and 2010, while the submarines were being delivered, Perimekar's activity had (almost) tumbled down: the company has seen its net income decrease from a profit of RM19 million to a loss amounting to RM3.3 million," she reported.
"The turnover has plunged from about RM85 million to RM23 million - an amount still comfortable enough for its shareholders. They have been granted dividends of RM56.2 million in 2009 (66 percent of the turnover) and RM18.7 million in 2010 (81 percent of the turnover)," she added.
Between 2003 and 2010, the company received more than RM200 million from its contract with the government, noted Boileau.
However, the financial report last year stated: The company's project with the government of Malaysia was completed on Dec 25, 2009, after which a downsizing exercise was done in a fair manner and the company was focusing on prospecting for other viable business opportunities.
Support services"But Perimekar is not the only Malaysian company being involved in the Scorpene deal," said Boileau.
Boustead DCNS Naval Corp - a 60-40 joint venture in 2009 between BHIC Defence Technologies and the French-based DCNS - was awarded by the Defence Ministry a RM532 million contract related to the Scorpene submarines, she said.
The company provides support services to Scorpene submarines from 2010 to 2015.
BHIC Defence is owned by ! BHIC (Bo ustead Heavy Industries Corporation), whose chairman is also Lodin Wok, added Boileau.

Nakhaie buries Najibs 1Malaysia!
FMT LETTER: From P Ramakrishnan, via e-mail
If an ignorant man talks nonsense we can easily forgive him for you dont expect any spectacular wisdom from an ignoramus. But when a person who is perceived as educated and scholarly speaks rubbish, you are rightly outraged.
This is exactly what happened when Mohd Nakhaie Ahmad, the former president of the Islamic Dawah Foundation Malaysia (Yadim) and one-time lawmaker-turned-traitor to the voters who elected him, came out with statements which are clearly scandalous, seditious and atrocious regarding the non-Malays in this country.
Nakhaie questioned the loyalty of non-Muslims in the country declaring that the communitys rights must be re-evaluated obviously forgetting his own shameful past when he showed no loyalty to the party that sponsored him as a candidate and those who elected him.
He had displayed a total absence of integrity without any qualms when he became a frog and leaped over to the Barisan Nasional. He is not in the least qualified to talk about loyalty.
According to him, the treatment of non-Muslims must be based on the agreed social contract; he pointed out that the government had been too gracious to the community.
Nakhaie absolutely doesnt understand that the social contract agreed upon is reflected in the Federal Constitution.
The Federal Constitution is the outcome of that social contract.
The rights and responsibilities of all Malaysians are laid out in this framework and guaranteed.
He is, of course, talking nonsense when he says, Civil rights given to them include the right to vote, participation in politics, hold office, involvement in the military and so forth but we cannot just willingly give them everything.
For the information of Nakhaie, these are unquestionable citizenship rights. For a one-time lawmaker to be totally ignorant of this fact indicates that he is hardly an enlightened leader and scholar. He shames him! self by his ignorance and intolerance.
He declared, If the agreement is broken then action must be taken against them. If they break our agreement then they are our enemy and must be expelled from the country. We must not compromise with them.
We must be stern with them when it comes to the social contract agreed.
The social contract is only broken when narrow-minded and intolerant bigots like him preach hatred and spread lies to inflame a certain strata of our citizens to view the non-Malays as enemies.
He should be charged for stirring up inter-ethnic passions which could be dangerous for our multi-ethnic Malaysia.
He proclaimed that it is important that high level government positions not be awarded to non-Muslims for national security.
We cannot give them important government positions as it is not allowed for non-Muslims to become ministers in a Islamic state.
Head of military must also not be given to non-Muslims.
Nakhaie is totally ignorant of the Federal Constitution which laid the foundation for this nation to exist.
He doesnt understand the concept of equality before the law and that the Federal Constitution does not discriminate against its citizens.
The rights of Malaysians are guaranteed under the concept of equality before the law.
It is unfortunate that in all his utterances and ramblings there is no notion of justice or understanding of our history.
He is blind to the fact that all citizens irrespective of race have an equal stake in this land of ours with unequivocal and inalienable rights as conferred by the Federal Constitution under Article 8.
For the information of Nakhaie, the government doesnt confer these rights.
These citizenship rights and the responsibilities that go with it were put beyond the pale of discussion following our return to parliamentary democracy in1971 after the worst racial riots in our history in 1969.
It is a criminal offence to question or challenge the citizenship of non-Mala! ys.
< p>Constitutional amendments in February 1971 had entrenched the citizenship rights of non-Malays.Nakhaie and others of his ilk have no right to question or challenge this citizenship.
By doing so with impunity they only expose how selective our system of justice is.
The wrath of the law is only applicable to those posing a threat to the BN, so it seems.
In the light of this historical fact, the atrocious statements by Nakhaie and the rest who indulge in similar seditious statements call for immediate action on the part of the authorities.
Action must be taken as a matter of urgency to preserve our peace and harmony and protect our unity. The long arm of the law must deal with them severely without fear or favour.
Failure to act will only encourage the racists and the bigots to go on a rampage.
We are flabbergasted that Nakhaie is not able to comprehend a simple political logic of our country.
Not all non-Muslims are against the BN.
Many have slavishly supported and continue to support the BN. It is also a fact that not all Malays support the BN a good number of them support Pas and PKR. In fact urban Malays are uneasy about the posturing of Nakhaie, Perkasa and Pembela. Umno lost many Malay majority constituencies to Pas and PKR in the last election. These are the realities of Malaysian politics.
There are also many decent and pious Malays in the rural areas who know what is right and wrong. They wont be deceived by these conceited and misconceived bigots preaching lies and hatred.
To portray the non-Malays as a threat to the Malays is a foolish attempt to project oneself as the hero of the Malays. The Malays are not that nave. They can see through this diabolical scheme to bring chaos to this land of ours.
While Nakhaie was raving and ranting against the non-Malays, not a single word was mentioned by him to upbraid the corrupt or condemn abuse of power.
Nothing was said about the sad state of our judiciary or the selecti! ve prose cution of those seen as a threat to the BN. No
concern was expressed over the loss of our freedom of expression or the right to assemble peacefully.
He has made a mockery of the PMs 1Malaysia catch-phrase, which was presented as all embracing and inclusive, promising equal treatment and opportunity for all Malaysians.
It is strange that even the PM has failed to protect his own slogan by not reprimanding Nakhaie for undermining his efforts in fostering unity.
It seems, Nakhaie has a free hand to bury Najibs 1 Malaysia!

Anwar's lawyers yet to interview Najib and Bik Mama...
With just days to go before Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim begins his defence in his second sodomy trial, the police have yet to arrange for the defence team to interview Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and his wife, Rosmah Mansor.Najib and Rosmah are among 71 witnesses offered by the prosecution to the defence after the High Court ordered Anwar to enter his defence for allegedly sodomising his former aide, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.
According to Anwar's counsel Sankara Nair, the defence team has shortlisted 25 of the 71 witnesses for interviews before deciding on whether to call them to testify in court.
"We gave the list to the prosecution on May 16 (when judge ruled a prima facie case against Anwar). However, in the last three weeks, they only managed to find five witnesses for us.
"They still cannot confirm when they can bring the prime minister and his wife," Sankara said when contacted by Malaysiakini yesterday.
The five witnesses the defence has interviewed so far are former athlete Mumtaz Jaafar, to whom Saiful related the alleged sodomy; special officer to the deputy prime minister Khairil Annas Jusoh, who had met with Saiful; Dr Mohd Osman Abdul Hamid, the first doctor who examined Saiful; a medical officer at Hospital Kuala Lumpur identified only as 'Dr Daniel'; and Saiful's sister Saidati.
Anwar has been charged with sodomising Saiful at a Desa Damansara condominium unit between 3.01pm and 4.30pm on June 26, 2008. This is the second sodomy trial involving the PKR de facto leader, who was acquitted on an earlier charge after an appeal.
Police have until tomorrow
Other witnesses! the def ence wants to interview before deciding whether to call them to testify include former inspector-general of police Musa Hassan and former Malacca police chief Rodwan Mohd Yusof. Sankara said the police have until tomorrow to provide all the remaining 20 witnesses as the trial resumes next Monday.
"We have to interview them to prepare our defence, as well as to decide who to call to appear in court, said Sankara.
"It is the duty of prosecution to provide the witnesses. They made the offer, so how can they refuse now?"

"The prime minister wants me to chair a meeting with Liow, Subramaniam, (Minister in Prime Minister's Department) Koh Tsu Koon and other ministers from other component parties to sit and list down the students who received good results to be sponsored by 1MDB at local universities," he said, adding that there are at least 500 openings. Last year, 300 SPM and 30 STPM finishers received a total of RM16 million in scholarships and academic grants from the 1MDB. |

And now for some of UMNO's dirty tricks...
Faced with the reality of outright loss to Pakatan in the next general elections, the BNs devious dirty tricks department seems to have gone into overdrive.Standing out in the long list, was...
1. farcical sodomy allegations,
2.an obviously fabricated sex video,
3.a fantasy Christian plot and now,
4. heres an idea, deregister PKR!
That way the BN can win the elections by default, since there is no other way for them to win. And if deregistering PKR works, then why not deregister PAS and DAP as well? That way, the BN can win 100% of the seats.
The reason given for this attempted deregistration of PKR is that they had sacked a member of their party for contesting against them. And what should PKR do with indisciplined members? Keep them so that the BN can benefit?
The Registrar of Societies too, it seems, is now a tool of the BN. The article of the constitution that the ROS accuses PKR of infringing does not actually exist. The individual named by ROS, is not a PKR member. Still they proceed!
Will they really deregister PKR on this nonsensical charge? It seems absurd. But absurd, the BN has demonstrated before, is fine with them, as long as it serves their purpose. And their purpose is to destroy Pakatan, destroy any alternative to them. And so they will most certainly persist with this action.
PKR has already filed an action in court against this attempt at deregistering them. Where it will lead, we do not know.
But we do know that deregistering PKR will lead to widespread discontent, and possibly unrest. The BN does not seem to care, they are perhaps confident that they hold the ! levers o f power and can therefore quell any dissatisfaction.
So what will become of Malaysia, when such tactics are used to suppress democratic freedom. We will become ever more an undemocratic nation, a country which is ruled by a small elite of politicians, bankrolled by crony businessmen, and supported by the security forces. It is not good for the country, or the people, or our economic well-being.
It is only good for the few who rule. Many regimes have survived in this manner for decades. But they must eventually fall. And when they fall, they will surely fall hard.- V Vijay

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz (left) said it was decided at the cabinet meeting this morning that the top flight students will be given spots in private institutions, which will also take them overseas eventually.
For this year, 1,500 top students have already been given full PSD scholarships to study in overseas universities.
They will be given places at various local private universities, such as Monash University Sunway, International Medical University in Bukit Jalil and Multimedia University in Cyberjaya.
Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz, the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, said the cabinet will carry out the review later this year, with its decision to be implemented next year.
“We don't want the money. We just want them to come back. Every time we sponsor a student to study medicine, let's say in Ireland, we pay over one million ringgit,” he said, adding that most of the non-returning scholars study medicine.
“One student from Saratok scored 8As and 2Bs. The other, from Kuching, obtained 10As. The rejection has nothing to do with their results,” Voon said yesterday.
“Following Marina's case, which was highlighted in the media, the Education Ministry issued an administrative directive that all children of mixed marriages in Sarawak are deemed to be bumiputeras, regardless of the race of either parent,” said Voon, who is a lawyer.
