Malays are still ruled by colonialists called “Umno”

By Martin Jalleh

Chug-a-lug Gif

Girl from Van Wilder

Perkasa, described by DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang as an outsource of Umno’s extremist demands, recently declared that for the Malays it would be “Better ruled than walked over” (The Malaysian Insider).

Its president Ibrahim Ali said that the “Malays would be better off living under colonial rule if Article 153 of the Federal Constitution which safeguards the special position of Bumiputeras is brushed aside.

Firing a warning shot across the Najib administration’s bow on the night the PM unveiled the Government Transformation Programme (GTP) annual report, Ibrahim stressed that the national agenda must be driven by Article 153, rather than incorporate the clause in piecemeal fashion.

He urged the government to persist with pro-Bumiputera affirmative action as exemplified by the New Economic Policy (NEP) as “it was impossible for the community to catch up in just 20 years after being sidelined by colonial powers for more than 400 years”.

Ibrahim reiterated that Perkasa’s fight for “equitable distribution” of economic pie was grounded in worries for national stability, which he said would be threatened if Bumiputeras remained marginalised.

How could it be possible that after 55 years of Umno’s existence, 53 years of the country’s independence and 41 years of the NEP – and Bumiputras still remain marginalised?

Blinding the Malay

Surely the patron of Perkasa, Dr Mahathir Mohamed, who was once crowned “The Father of all Racism” by Minister in the PM’s Department Nazri Aziz, will be able to enlighten Perkasa on this.

It has very much to do with the tragic irony that the Malays (and the whole nation) are still being “colonised” till this day by a colonialist power name “Umno” with the Colonial Master being Sir Najib Tun Razak.

The re-colonisation began in 1981 when Dr M donned the mantle of British supremacy and with his Executive supremacy even outdid the white colonial master in many ways during the 22 years that followed!

Dr M and his cohorts who once detested the oppressive laws of the British, brandished a gamut of harsh executive powers during his reign which were deeply and undeniably derivative of authoritarian colonialism.

Najib desperately continues this colonial tradition that he has inherited in order to survive. He waves and wields this power most unabashedly at his own race, especially those who can see through the colonialism of Umno!

Many laws left behind by the British were amended by Dr M and made even more draconian to contain, cripple and crush legitimate dissent by citizens and the Opposition. There were countless examples of this.

British “propaganda” was replaced by a powerful broadcast media owned by the Government (also read as Umno) and allied companies, and regulated by the Broadcasting Act, 1987, which gives the Information Minister vast powers of control and manipulation.

The Sedition Act (1948), a British law used to stifle Malay nationalists (especially those in UMNO, a party born two years before the Act came to be) was amended and made use of by Dr M for selective prosecution of political opponents and to protect UMNO. It is being used with greater frequency by Najib’s government!

The Internal Security Act (ISA) (1960), a relic of colonialism, meant to combat the then communists, was amended more than 20 times to make it more repressive than the original. Its powers were abused to protect the “security” of Umno. Known as ‘white terror’, the ISA was and is still used by Malaysians on Malaysians.

The Printing Presses and Publications Act (1984) originated from the Printing Press Act (1948). Amended in 1987 by Dr M’s regime to exclude judicial review of the Executive’s action vis-a-vis publications it still serves as a stranglehold on the press and opposition publications.

The Official Secrets Act (OSA) (1972) was based on the British OSA of 1911. Amended in 1986 to provide for mandatory jail sentences, Dr M used it to reinforce the cult of secrecy and to hide his many misdeeds. It resulted in self-censorship by the press.

The Police Act (1963) was amended in 1967, 1981 and 1987 to enhance the wide array of police powers, thus making the constitutional right of assembly absolutely “irrelevant”.

The late Tunku Abdul Rahman died a disillusioned man on seeing his Malaysia reduced to, in his very own words, “a Police State”. Till today the police continue to abuse their unbridled power and play politics.

The Special Branch, a creation of Britain in 1887, was meant as a response to Irish anarchist terrorism. It has been perfected by the Malaysian police to “trace”, threaten, torture and “turn over” political dissidents.

Reporting on the coming Sarawak elections, Sim Kwang Yang (former MP for Kuching) wrote that Special branch and Information department are eyes and ears of the BN!

Najib and his Umno-dominated government continue to employ every trick and treachery by Dr M during his 22 years as PM – “divide-and-rule”, purveying a “culture of fear” or creating a “siege mentality”, manipulating ethnic and religious fears, trotting out a bogey – which were all tools of British Colonialism.

Bonsified Malay Mind

No one has echoed this reality with such accuracy and bluntness than renegade artist Hishamuddin Rais who declared on 7 Sept. 2010 that “the Malay mind has been ‘bonsified’ (shrunk and distorted, like a bonsai plant) by Umno’s political agenda in order to perpetuate the culture of fear against non-Malays.”

The former ISA detainee said that it is typical of Umno to play on racial fears to convince the public that they are the best option for Malays to remain at the forefront of social and economic development in Malaysia.

“This process that ‘bonsifies’, nullifies and stupefies (Malays) goes back to the British time. (Malays) are led by lazy leaders and lazy thinkers,” Hishamuddin said at a ‘Malays are muted too!’ forum.

The activist noted that Malays have been indoctrinated to fear new ideas and ‘ghosts’ of Chinese supremacy, to the point that the Malay public believe that the ‘ghosts’ are real threats to their existence.

Hishamuddin claimed that just like the colonial British in Malaya, Umno realises that a liberated Malay mind is a threat to their existence, hence the ruling party’s efforts to stop the liberalisation of the Malay mindset.

He alleged that Umno would never agree to free the Malay mind as it is all about maintaining the ruling party’s power and control over Malaysia’s wealth.

Hishamuddin stressed that the ruling government is simply working on the premise of “manufactured consent”‘, where it employs public institutions such as the Malayan Sultanate to force people to agree with whatever opinions or policies it makes.

He said that it has perpetuated the culture of ‘lazy thinkers’ among Malays, where the best minds end up being unwilling or unable to contribute to the community’s advancement.

Hishamuddin stressed that it is unfortunate that the best Malay minds have been left out of the nation’s education system, to make way for ‘half-educated’ Malays who are bent on maintaining the status quo.

Bastardised NEP

Another Malay who is free from “Umno’s colonialism” is CIMB group CEO Nazir Abdul Razak who had in August 2010 described the NEP as having been bastardised by deviating from its original purpose.

He declared that the NEP has come a long way from the social engineering experiment originally aimed at eradicating poverty and that it has appeared to enrich small pockets of people.

“Now we need to address what kind of affirmative action we want to have. It is so infused in everything. But we will one day need to confront it one way or another.”

He also advised his audience to ignore extremist groups and not to waste time engaging with the “few noisy people in the corner do not make up the majority or represent the majority”. Was he referring to Perkasa?

Alas, the Malays of today who are still marginalised have to follow good and brave examples like Hishamuddin Rais and Nazir Abdul Razak and free themselves from the devious and oppressive colonial ways of Umno and its agents like Ibrahim Ali.

Customs officer falls to death during MACC probe

KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 — A Customs officer died today after falling from the third floor of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) building on Jalan Cochrane where he was being investigated with others for over a billion ringgit in unpaid taxes.

MACC investigations director Datuk Mustafar Ali said the Customs officer's body was found sprawled on the first floor at 10.15am.

The death comes even as a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) is being conducted into the anti-graft body’s operating procedures following the death of former DAP aide Teoh Beng Hock, who also fell to his death from an MACC building.

Teoh was found dead on July 16, 2009 on the fifth floor of Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam, where the Selangor MACC office had then been located.

During a hastily-convened press conference, Mustafar revealed that the deceased was Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed, a 56-year-old assistant director from Customs Department in Selangor.

He explained that Ahmad had returned to the MACC building at 8.26am today unannounced and requested to meet with the investigation officer.

Ahmad had already given his statement to MACC and released from custody at 12.30PM on Saturday.

He had been remanded on March 29 following an MACC-led swoop on Customs staff, resulting in the arrests of 62 officers.

“The deceased had asked to meet with the investigation officer but did not say why,” Mustafar said.

The chief investigator said an officer then accompanied Ahmad to an office room before leaving to collect the case file but found him missing when he returned.

Ahmad’s body was later found sprawled on the badminton court at the first floor.

“[The] MACC has informed what happened to the deceased’s family and management from his department.

“We have also submitted the matter to the police for further action,” he said.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Zulkifli Abdullah confirmed that the case has been classified as sudden death and initial investigation has found injuries to the head.

The MACC last week busted a Customs syndicate responsible for billions of ringgit in tax evasion, money laundering and illegal funds outflows after raiding over 100 different premises nationwide.

Mustafar said the operation included the arrest of a husband-and-wife duo working for the Royal Malaysian Customs Department in an east coast state, who were caught with hundreds of thousands of ringgit in cash “scattered around their house.”

He added that the operation was ongoing and the full value of tax evasion was not yet known.

MACC has not learned lessons, Bar Council’s RCI lawyer says

By Boo Su-Lyn, The Malaysian Insider

KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 — Bar Council lawyers urged a thorough police investigation into the death of a Customs officer who fell outside the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office here earlier today.

The senior Customs officer, who was being investigated over a billion ringgit in unpaid taxes, died even as a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) is currently investigating the mysterious death of former DAP aide Teoh Beng Hock, who also plunged to his death from an MACC building in 2009.

“Whatever the cause of this tragic death that we heard today, it appears that MACC has not learned from lessons past,” Bar Council vice-president Christopher Leong told The Malaysian Insider today.

“Investigations must be done thoroughly, exhaustively right from the start to avoid a case like Teoh Beng Hock, where investigations was not sufficiently thorough when the coroner’s inquest produced an open verdict, resulting in a commission of inquiry,” added Leong, who heads the Bar Council team in the RCI.

Teoh’s body was found on the fifth floor corridor of Plaza Masalam in Shah Alam on July 16, 2009, after he was questioned overnight by MACC officers at their then Selangor headquarters on the 14th floor.

The police initially classified the case as a sudden death, but public disbelief and uproar forced a coroner’s inquest to be held.

The 17-month inquest that ended last January gave an open verdict, where it ruled that Teoh’s death was neither suicide nor homicide.

Public outrage forced the Najib administration to set up the RCI to probe the circumstances surrounding the 30-year-old’s death to find out the real cause.

Video Blue Rahim: Tutup Perut, Janggut Pula yang Kantoi

NOTA EDITOR: Video Blue Rahim Thamby Chik yang didedah dalam Youtube begitu rapi disunting sehingga watak "Anwar" itu hanya memakai tuala, tanpa menunjukkan perut beliau.

Mereka ingat bila perut dah tutup, trick mereka dah berjaya. Rupanya, janggot pulak kantoi.

Video seks Anwar kantoi kerana janggut (pencerahan)

The Christians Win, But For How Long?

OVERT RACISM

IN their stand-off against the Government over the Bible issue, the Christians have won. Especially those in Sabah and Sarawak. Not only will the Bible in any language, including Bahasa Malaysia, be allowed to be imported; it can now be printed locally and in the indigenous languages of the Sabah and Sarawak natives. This shows that when you stick to your guns, you’ll get what is rightfully yours. In this case, the right to practise your religion freely, as is guaranteed by the Federal Constitution.

The Christians have to be admired for standing up and not giving in. But lest they think they had God, Najib Razak and Idris Jala on their side, they might do well to realize that what decided the issue in their favour and even beyond their wildest expectations was obviously the upcoming Sarawak state elections.

This is a politically expedient decision through and through. Otherwise, it would not have been made at such super speed. Prime Minister Najib desperately wants the Christian vote in order for his coalition to win big in Sarawak. The outcome of the state elections there could be a harbinger of the next general election. He needs a morale booster. He cannot afford a break in Barisan Nasional’s (BN) momentum after its recent spate of by-election victories. He wants to keep up the public perception – no doubt as advised by his well-paid public relations consultants – that Malaysian support for BN is returning. He also wants to ensure that Sarawak remains a safe deposit for BN. And Sabah, too, where the Christian populace, like that in Sarawak, is substantial.

The Christian uproar over the Bible issue must have scared him. The huge turnout at the Kuching prayer rally last week – to express Christian unhappiness with the Government and to send out a call for religious freedom – was unprecedented.

Given the dire situation, Najib must have realised that it would not have been enough to just agree to release the 30,000-plus copies of the Bible impounded by the Government, so he added a sweetener – the Bible can now be printed in Malay and indigenous languages locally. It took many people by surprise.

This means that the word “Allah” – which appears in the impounded Bible copies and has been a bone of contention between the Home Ministry and Christian publications – can now be used by Christians without restriction. The one thing that can crush it is if the Court of Appeal overturns the decision made by the High Court in December 2009 that granted Christians the right to use “Allah”.

However, no date has been fixed yet for the Court of Appeal to hear the appeal, even though it was filed by the Home Ministry more than a year ago, in January 2010. Why, indeed, is this so? What is it waiting for? Is the Government holding on to the case like it were a trump card it would unleash only when the time was right, for its own political purpose?

And since the case is pending appeal, the question needs to be asked: What will happen to the Bibles in Malay and indigenous languages if the Court of Appeal should eventually overturn the High Court decision and declare that Christians cannot use the word “Allah” after all?

As we know, this saga concerning the use of “Allah” and the prohibition of the AlKitab, the Malay name for the Bible, is not recent. It has been unfolding since 1981, when the AlKitab was banned under the Internal Security (Prohibition of Publications) Order. Is there any assurance that it will not start afresh when the Sarawak state elections and the next general election are over?

This is where Malaysians can derive a moral from the whole saga: That it is hazardous to give the Government too much power through a strong mandate. It is always safer to keep the Government on the back foot and under pressure so that it will listen to the people. Once they have too much power, they are bound to get arrogant and ride roughshod over everyone.

The people of Sarawak might want to consider this important point and vote accordingly.

As for the Christians in Peninsular Malaysia, they might well wonder why the new ruling discriminates against them. While there are no conditions imposed on the Sabahans and Sarawakians over the importation and local printing of the Bible in all languages, why must there be one for Peninsular Malaysia publications, which have to carry the words “Christian Publication” and the cross sign on the front covers?

Is this 1Malaysia? How can it be when it transgresses the principle of inclusiveness that is at the core of Najib’s concept?

The reason given for these double standards is that the Government has to consider the interest of the larger Muslim community in Peninsular Malaysia, but it only serves to expose the central flaw of the 1Malaysia concept and the questionable sincerity of its architect. It shows that 1Malaysia is half-hearted, and it lacks the will and the courage to overcome the status quo of divisive practices and prejudices. It is to be applied only when it is politically safe and convenient to be applied.

Having a different standard for Peninsular Malaysia over the Bible issue shows even more clearly that the Government’s new decision is merely to win the votes of the Sarawak Christians.

The way forward now is to test the Government’s sincerity. It has come out to pledge that it wishes “to work with the Christian groups and all the different religious groups in order to address inter-religious issues and work towards the fulfillment of all religious aspirations in accordance with the Constitution, taking into account the other relevant laws of the country”. That’s according to Idris Jala, the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office who has had to handle the AlKitab issue by dint of his being a Christian even though the Home Minister should be the one doing the dirty job. (Poor man! There were occasions during the stand-off when he was viewed by his fellow Christians as a Judas Iscariot.)

To see if that pledge is true, the Christian groups should next press for easier Government approval to build churches instead of having to wait years for such approval to come, as has been the experience of some. They should ask for real churches to be built, like those in the old days with church-like design and the cross prominently featured on their facades, instead of like those that are not supposed to appear like churches and are housed in warehouses or shophouses, as has been the case in recent times. They should ask for churches to be located in appropriate vicinities instead of in industrial areas among factories, as has also been the case in recent times. After all, in the context of 1Malaysia, churches, mosques, Buddhist temples, Hindu temples and all manner of religious buildings should stand alongside one another to proclaim the religious freedom and tolerance of worship that our founding fathers envisioned.

That’s just for starters. There must be a litany of other grouses the Christians have been harbouring over the decades concerning the unfair treatment they have been receiving, most of it without regard for their rights as enshrined in the Federal Constitution. But now is the time to make Najib walk the talk. They have to strike while the iron is hot. Because when the time for political expediency is over, God knows whether the Government will be as amenable and anxious to please.

Bible impasse: CCM youth reject 10-point proposal

by Hazlan Zakaria | Apr 4, 11
Malaysiakini

The youth wing of the Council of Churches Malaysia (CCM) today rejected outright the government’s 10-point proposal to appease Christians in Sabah and Sarawak over restrictions on the publication and import of the Bible.

The movement made this known in a tweet this morning:

“Say NO to 10-pointers. Malaysian Christians want FULL FREEDOM, FULL RIGHTS to practise their faith.”

Contacted by Malaysiakini, CCM youth secretary Daniel Chai explained: “We don’t agree with the suggestions because they represent no firm commitment from the government. We shall continue to observe and see how things develop.”

Last Saturday, the government through Pemandu CEO Idris Jala issued a list of 10 proposals calculated to salve Christian anger after 30,000 imported copies of the Bible in the Malay language were impounded by the customs in Kuching and another 5,000 copies were seized in Port Klang.

But the suggestions delivered by Idris, who is a Christian despite his Malay-sounding name, were met with scepticism by Christian and church groups, which said they have received similar assurances from the BN government before, prior to the seizures of the Bible.

They expressed fears that the government was only trying to “buy them over” for the Sarawak election and that it would and go back on its word after that.

Meanwhile, in a more pointed move, the National Evangelical Christian Fellowship Malaysia, a coalition of Christian evangelists formed amidst concerns over the right of Christians to have access to the Bible in the Malay language, have organised a prayer session they hope will influence the election of a Sarawak government that will be more favourable to their plight.

The coalition, which also pledged to represent the Christian community on issues and matters affecting the Church and society at large, is made up of more than 15 Christian and church groups. It members include the Salvation Army, Sidang Injil Borneo and the Baptist Church.

Prayers for Sarawak and its people

“As we draw nearer to the Sarawak state election, more calls for prayers have been sounded out. The Sarawak Ministers Fellowship has issued a call for a 12-day prayer,” NECF executive secretary for Prayer, Rev Andy Chi, wrote on the website.

He explained that the body was mobilising churches and intercessors to cover Sarawak in prayer in preparation for their coming state election.

“We would like to stand together with our Sarawak brethren in prayer as they face their state election. We believe through united prayer, we can alter the course of a people,” the reverend added.

Chi said the prayers, to cover all 31 parliamentary and 71 state seats in Sarawak and last 12 days from tomorrow until Sarawakians go to the polls on April 16, will be to:

•Give thanks to God for His love for Sarawak and for blessing us with abundance of resources, no natural disasters, peace and harmony amongst people of many races and religions;

•Pray for the coming state election for a peaceful, free and fair event, with good weather, good voter turnout as our people carry out their responsibilities as good citizens of the state to vote for leaders who are capable, God-fearing, full of integrity and hate dishonest gains;

•Pray for the incoming state government (to be) one that will love and take care of the people, is righteous and just, full of wisdom to bring development and take care of the poor, needy and marginalised;

•Pray for the people of Sarawak, that they will be good and responsible citizens, law abiding, respectful of the government, love one another and live in peace and harmony with one another; and

•Pray for religious freedom in Sarawak and Malaysia, that God will grant our authorities much wisdom, justice and fairness in upholding constitutional freedom of religion for our multiracial, multi-religious nation.

Application to open a coffin shop at MACC office

To MACC Deputy Chief of Commission Abu Kassim Mohammed.

Dear Sir,

I would like to be the first to apply to open a coffin shop at the main entrance gate of your newly completed MACC office in Cochrane Road.

I understand that MACC is making an effort to show the people that they are working by catching mosquitoes but forgetting we want the big sharks too. So to quicken the process so that UMNO can win in the coming 13th General Election everything must be cepat tutup buku, violent is use.

Putting that aside for now, my main interest at this moment is to make money and knowing that MACC has good track record of people committing suicide at the offices when giving statement whether as an offender or witness. Please allow me to be the first to apply for a space to sell coffin. The coffin can be placed just at the main entrance gate of your newly posh office. I understand your need for the ground floor space to be empty for the suiciders to land when they jump from the first, second and third floor.

So please consider my application favourably as a last-stop service centre similar to checking into Hotel California.

Carry your own coffin when you are ask to give statement at MACC office

Another death, another suicide.

Either MACC admit they are only good at forcing people to kill themselves, or the same GHOST that insist Teoh Beng Hock strangle himself is a habitual spirit that has liking for suicide.

I don't know why MACC offices have that BAD FENG SHUI vibe. So what will the latest explanation be for the latest death? Mental health, guilt or another show of arrogance from MACC officers who are NOT QUALIFIED and MENTALLY RETARDED.

Close the damn MACC department down for goodness sake. As it is, only little fries are being prosecuted. People like Taib,Mahathir, Daim, Pak Lah, Yaakob, Khairy, Zeti,Vincent Tan, Shahrizat, Yen Yen, Najib and Rosmah etc.. are still hanging loose.

The next time anyone is called up especially opposition, to have their statement taken, make sure you carry a coffin with you.

Ng wont bring the change Sarawak needs

FMT LETTER: From Quigonbond, via e-mail

I refer to the report, PKR may bring down whole Pakatan ship. The author did not put his/her name to this article. Obviously a SNAP supporter. Curious if SNAP is not ambitious, why would it need to take the majority shares in a Pakatan coalition?

The logic does not add up. As to the subjective appraisal that Bian is only liked by opposition leaders while Ng is popular with the people, I find it rather peculiar because impliedly, the leaders in the opposition do not have the pulse of Sarawak at their fingers. Is that true?

I suppose well know from the electoral results.

In the end, voters should bear in mind that this election is about taking calculated risks. Ng was a thorn in DAPs side, and perhaps his allegiance to PKR is questionable, like Wee Cho Keong. Once anassemblyman does not see eye to eye with national leadership, he/she naturally becomes an asset for BN down the line.

Would the voters prefer to vote for Ng, who then switches side to BN because he cant stand PKR leadership anymore? I think not. Anwar is a consummate politician, and is certainly aware of repercussions of not fielding Ng.

But if the winds of change is to come to Sarawak, then the voters will have to trust the national agenda and national leadership of PKR/Pakatan, more than any single personality, because as an independent, with unclear allegiance, Ng wont bring the change Sarawak and Malaysia needs.

IGP reckless to confirm ‘authenticity’ of sex video

Anwar's lawyer Sankara Nair questions the integrity of police investigations and the speed in which tape was declared genuine.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sankara Nair, one of Anwar Ibrahim’s lawyers, said he disagreed with IGP Ismail Omar’s statement that the sex video linked to his client was authentic.

“Given the complexity of the issue, it would be proper practice to ask for a second or several opinions and then proceed to conclude the clip’s authenticity or otherwise.”

He drew parallels with the VK Lingam “looks like me, sounds like me” clip investigation, which took approximately 30 days or more to conclude.

“Officials were even sent to Madrid to validate the findings of the clips. So it is rather peculiar that the authenticity of this clip was affirmed in a matter of days.”

Sankara also slammed the police for “dragging their feet” by not arresting the ‘Datuk T’ trio for committing a criminal offence.

He also questioned the integrity of the police’s investigation, as all CDs containing the clip were supposedly surrendered to the police by the ‘Datuk T’.

“Clearly if they were the only ones who had their hands on the CDs, the police should swiftly bring them in for questioning as this amounts to mass distribution of pornographic material.”

Former Malacca Chief Minister Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik, Perkasa treasurer-general Shuib Lazim and businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah released a 21-minute sex tape featuring a man who resembles Anwar on March 21.

Since then, the de facto PKR leader has been calling for their arrest under Section 292 of the Penal Code, which concerns illegal possession and distribution of pornography.

The IGP said earlier yesterday: “I will decide on the right time and who to arrest.”

In the latest developments, the wife and children of Anwar have publicly denied that the person depicted as having sex in the video is the opposition leader.

A 1:47 minute teaser of the video made its rounds across the country two days ago. - FMT

Facebook jury: It’s not Anwar

The sex video has whipped up a storm in Facebook, with many commentators casting doubts on the male actor.

GEORGE TOWN: Two days after a short version of the sex video implicating Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim found its way in YouTube, a majority of commentators in social network Facebook are unconvinced that the main male actor was Anwar.

Indeed if feedbacks from Facebook were anything to go by, the 1.47-minute snippet has backfired on its perpetrators.

“The guy on the tape is definitely not Anwar,” said many Facebook account holders after two days of relentless debates, attacks, criticisms and discussions in several forums on the sex video.

Inevitably, former Malacca chief minister Rahim Tamby Chik, Kedah-based businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and Perkasa treasurer Shuib Lazim came under heavy fire from the Facebook commentators.

The three “Datuks” have openly claimed they were the masterminds behind the sex video.

But now they are the Facebook “fall guys” in the scandal.

All sorts of criticisms and labels have been levelled at them for the “disastrous sex scandal foray”.

They were labelled as “Three Stooges”, “Three Musketeers” and “Tiga (three) Abduls”.

‘Coincidence or plotted script?’

Umno was surely at the receiving end of the Facebook outrage because many believe that the party top brass was behind the sex video, although the allegations remained to be proven.

Some questioned the timing of the video leak to YouTube, just two days after Inspector-General of Police Ismail Omar told the press that police probe had revealed that the video was authentic.

“Was it a coincidence or a plotted script?” asked many.

Several cyber forum hosts, dubbed as “Umno cyber Trojans”, who tagged the leaked video clip on their links, also came under fire for attempting to convince Facebook account holders that “Anwar had been caught literally with his pants down”.

The hosts were taken aback by the fiery reactions and eventually silenced by the strong criticisms from the commentators.

Indeed, the hosts appeared have gone missing for long periods while debates were raging fiercely over the sex tape.

Certain interested parties would argue that the anti-video critics were Anwar or PKR “cyber Trojans”.

But, if one has been long enough in Facebook, one would be convinced that even neutrals, supporters and members of Barisan Nasional (BN) remained unconvinced that it was Anwar.

Some even suggested that “the male actor and prostitute looked like Thais”.

Dubious features

The patrons raised many interesting questions on the clip, including why it was in black and white, and not in colour.

They raised questions about the many dubious features in the video, including the standard of the hotel room, its paraphernalia, especially the bed, and the appearance of a third person.

Some suggested that the hotel could be in Thailand.

“Don’t tell me Anwar would go to such a low-class budget hotel. Even I won’t go for it,” said many.

Several others also questioned the presence of the third person, a male, in the video prior to the sexual acts.

“Why was the person there? Was he directing the whole scene? Or was he a pimp?” asked many.

Certain Islamist-typed commentators slammed Umno and its alleged cyber Trojans for mocking Islamic virtues by stooping so low and resorting to malicious lies to undermine an opposition leader.

Several of them suggested that the sex video was produced to help Umno win convincingly in the Sarawak state election.

But they claimed that the sex scandal could help Pakatan Rakyat win over neutrals in future electoral battles.

“The sex video could help the opposition more than the BN in Sarawak. It also could backfire on Umno and BN in the next general election,” they claimed. - FMT

MACC threatened me, says DAP man

(The Star) - KUALA LUMPUR: A DAP municipal councillor told the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the death of Teoh Beng Hock that he was threatened and harassed by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Com-mission (MACC) officers.

Kajang councillor Tan Boon Wah, who was taken to the Selangor MACC office for questioning on July 15, 2009, said he was threatened with bodily harm and made to worry about his wife and child.

“The officers told me they would bring my wife in and it would result in no one being around to take care of my then five-year-old child,” said Tan.

He said one of the MACC officers had also threatened to bring his daughter to the MACC office to see him cry.

Tan was brought to the state MACC office on the 14th floor of Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam, for questioning on the same day as deceased political aide Teoh, in relation to investigations pertaining to the illegal disbursement of state funds.

Teoh, who was Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah's political secretary, was found dead the following day at the building's fifth floor service corridor.

Tan, who was held at the MACC office for 17 hours from 8.30pm on July 15, 2009 to 1.35pm the following day, said he was made to stand motionless in a dark room, was intimidated with a racial slur and was called stupid.

Tan added that one of the officers, Bulkini Paharuddin, who had picked him up from his Cheras home, accused him of not supplying a consignment of flags ordered by the Seri Kembangan assemblyman's office.

“I told the officers that I had bought the flags and supplied them as required,” said Tan, who had charged Ean Yong's office RM2,400 for the consignment.

Tan added that he was still accused in spite of showing them documents pertaining to the order.

“When I denied the allegation, Bulkini pointed his finger to my nose and gestured as if he wanted to beat me up,” he added.

He said the MACC officers were trying to force him to admit to their allegations to implicate Ean Yong.

“They told me I should admit my guilt if I loved my family and made me swear three times that my family will be ruined in the event I was lying,” he said.

Tan also said he had seen Teoh when he was rushing to the toilet about 2am on July 16.

His head was bowed and he was walking slowly.

“I asked him: You are still here?'

“He just mumbled: Huh',” said Tan.

Meanwhile, Selangor MACC senior assistant enforcement officer Raymond Nion John Timban, who was called after Tan, said he had seen Teoh alive at about 6am on July 16.

Earlier in the day, MACC deputy commissioner of operations Datuk Shukri Abdul said the incident had adversely affected the anti-graft body.

He admitted that there were weaknesses in MACC's system and added it would be corrected.

Shukri also said in the event the commission finds that MACC officers were liable for Teoh's death, necessary action will be instituted against them.

“We will not protect our officers. We want justice for Teoh, his fam-ily, the public and also MACC,” he said.

BN-ning SNAP : The Ex-PKR Unholy Trinity

The People's Parliament

Last night, I was interviewed again by Radio Free Sarawak.

Papa Orang Utan asked me for the latest on SNAP.

Split into three factions, I told him.

The good, the bad, and the ugly.

Yes, there are still good men in SNAP, albeit few, who are oblivious to the BN connection.

Who’re the ugly in SNAP?

As far as I know, one man.

Paul Kadang.

This ex-PKR deputy sec-gen is now the link to the KL operatives acting in cahoots with and under the directions of BN.

Who are the KL operatives?

Ex-PKR Sec-Gen, Salehuddin Hashim is the main operator, with former PKR communications director, Jonson Chong in tow, as Saleh’s errand boy.

There you have it.

The ex-PKR unholy trinity.

The odd thing is that, even as I write up this post, Jonson, who is still a PKR member, is in Kuching working out of the SNAP headquarters.

I sms’d Jonsan a few days ago to ask whether his present involvement with SNAP is not an infraction of PKR party discipline.

He replied to say that he did not think so.

I wonder if the PKR disciplinary committee takes the same view?

Sex video: A new lucrative industry!

Have you seen the video? I have not but I think many Malaysians had. Millions of foreigners too.

In the country, students as young as 7-year old have seen it. Others are tempted to watch it too. I wonder if our youths would be aroused to copy the act. What if more 'made in Malaysia' illicit materials are posted on U-Tube.

Congrats. We are turning Kuala Lumpur into another Amsterdam or Copenhagen for the production of 'blue films'. Once we set the precedent, nothing will stop others from doing it. Can we charge them in court should our young producers try to proof their talent?

Who to blame? Anwar Ibrahim? Rahim Tamby Chik? The media? Bloggers?

Information, Communication and Culture Minister Rais Yatim said in Kuching today (here) that the government would study the Laws under the Malaysian Communications and Multi-Media Act 1998 before taking further action on the revealing of 'Anwar' sex video clip.

What prompted him to say such and why didnt he make such a comment much earlier? Have he seen the video too? Okay... but what kind of action can be taken and against who? The actor, its producer or its distributor?

I thought we already have a strong set of law in prohibiting the display of illicit materials on the Internet or other medium. What happened to it? Or there are still loopholes!

Dont tell me the next time someone comes up with another sex video clip, he is free to do so as there is no specific law to charge him. While you were in Kuching making the statement, a coffee shop in Sibu was trying to give its patrons a sneak preview of it!

Can we reprimand the owner and close his shop?

DAP calls for RCI, independent review of MACC

UPDATED @ 05:07:23 PM 06-04-2011

April 06, 2011

In a statement, Guan Eng said Ahmad's death demonstrates that MACC has not reformed despite pledging to do so.
KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 — The DAP has called for another royal investigation and an independent review of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) operations, in an immediate response to the death this morning of a senior Customs officer being investigated for graft.

“DAP is outraged that there is still another death within the grounds of the MACC after the still unresolved tragic death of Teoh Beng Hock. Will the MACC never wake up and learn?” the political party’s secretary-general, Lim Guan Eng, said.

He noted the MACC’s questionable standards, which he said had compromised the federal government’s commitment to eradicate corruption.

Selangor Customs assistant director, Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed, was found dead on the ground outside the MACC’s office in Jalan Cochrane here at about 10.20am today. He is believed to have fallen out of the building’s third-floor window.

He was one of 62 people nabbed by MACC officers in a nationwide operation last week and released two days ago, but had returned voluntarily about 8.30am today to give another statement.

Teoh, a political secretary to a Selangor state executive councilor, was found dead outside the MACC Selangor’s office in July 2009, after being questioned overnight on a case of misusing public funds.

An inquest returned his death as neither suicide nor conclusively ruled to be homicide, prompting the formation of the royal investigation to find out if the MACC had contributed to it.

In his statement, Lim, who is also Penang chief minister, said Ahmad’s death while in MACC’s custody shows the national graft busters had not learnt their lesson and could not be trusted to live up to their pledges of reform.

“The tragic death of Ahmad would only deepen suspicion and distrust as well as shatter any public confidence left in the operational and interrogation methods of MACC,” he said.

“DAP calls for a full Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into the death of Ahmad,” Lim continued, adding that it should look into the cause of death, punish the culprits responsible and implement safeguards to ensure that suspects are no longer injured or die unnecessary deaths, despite the ongoing RCI into Teoh’s death, which was also tasked with that job.

“At the same time, there must be a full revamp of MACC to determine whether MACC can carry out its anti-corruption duties effectively, efficiently, impartially and professionally without causing harm or death to its suspects,” he said.

The lawmaker called on Putrajaya to set up an independent review panel consisting of members from international graft watchdog, Transparency International (TI), to audit the MACC’s operations and procedures.

Pakatan leaders call for MACC heads to roll

April 06, 2011

KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 — Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders have demanded for the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to be held fully accountable after a second death was today linked to the commission’s investigations.

A Customs officer was found dead today and is believed to have fallen from the third floor of the MACC building on Jalan Cochrane where he was being investigated over a billion ringgit in unpaid taxes.

During a hastily-convened press conference, MACC investigations director Datuk Mustafar Ali revealed that the deceased was Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed, a 56-year-old assistant director from Customs Department in Selangor.

Speaking at Parliament today, DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang pointed out that the death comes even as a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) is being conducted into the anti-graft body’s operating procedures following the death of former DAP aide Teoh Beng Hock, who also fell to his death from an MACC building.

Teoh was found dead on July 16, 2009 on the fifth floor of Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam, where the Selangor MACC office had then been located.

“It is most shocking that this is taking place when the Teoh Beng Hock royal commission of inquiry is going on and clearly there is something which the MACC will have to take full responsibility for.

“MACC cannot completely wash its hands off this and after the Teoh Beng Hock’s case, there should be zero incidents of these falling deaths,” he said.

The Ipoh Timor MP said the MACC must ensure its public confidence and not suffer another major blow to its credibility.

“There should be full explanation of what actually transpired and no cover up whatsoever,” he said, demanding immediate accountability.

“Heads must roll,” Lim said.

He said the current Teoh RCI must be expanded to oversee this death as it has terms of reference, adding that the MACC owed the public an “immediate explanation”.

PKR vice president Nurul Izzah Anwar went further and demanded the resignation of the MACC chief commission, before calling for a thorough investigation into Ahmad Sarbani’s death.

“No matter the manner or excuse, there is clearly a grave weakness in the standard operating procedure, basic governance and precautionary measures of the organisation,” she said via text message.

PAS central committee member Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said the latest death linked to the commission underlined the need for the MACC to be more professional and improve on existing investigation procedures.

“We have learned nothing from Teoh Beng Hock,” he said.

The Kuala Selangor MP reiterated opposition demands for interrogations conducted at the anti-graft body’s premises to be recorded to prevent further deaths or mishaps.

He said this had to been done urgently before those held for questioning by the MACC ended up as “more statistics”.

During the RCI in March, Selangor MACC investigation unit head Hairul Ilham Hamzah said CCTVs should be installed in interview rooms and Standing Orders should be drafted on interrogation procedures, when asked how the MACC could be improved.

In May last year, the MACC complaints committee had proposed installing CCTV cameras in interrogation areas as part of overhauls to investigation procedures following the death of Teoh last year.

Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Noor Abdullah said they also proposed for the commission to study and adopt interrogation procedures practised by foreign agencies, such as Hong Kong’s Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).

It is unclear if there are CCTVs installed in the new MACC building.

This morning, Mustafar said the Customs officer’s body was found sprawled on the office’s first floor at 10.15am.

He explained that Ahmad had returned to the MACC building at 8.26am today unannounced and requested to meet with the investigation officer.

Ahmad’s body was later found sprawled on the badminton court at the first floor.

PKR tells Putrajaya to clean up MACC

April 06, 2011

Dr Wan Azizah called the death a “shocking tragedy”. — file pic
KUCHING, April 6 — PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail demanded today the government “clean up the mess” in its graftbusting body, expressing disgust that yet another death had occurred in the middle of its investigations.

Dr Wan Azizah added the latest tragedy would further shame the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), which has already been the subject of public scorn following the death of political aide Teoh Beng Hock.

“It is a shocking tragedy, and what’s more, it happened in the midst of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Teoh’s death,” she told a media conference at the party’s Kuching operations centre in Satok here this afternoon.

Dr Wan Azizah was responding to reports on the death of a customs officer Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed, 56, who plunged today from the third floor of the MACC building on Jalan Cochrane in Kuala Lumpur where he was being investigated for over a billion ringgit in unpaid taxes.

The death comes even as the RCI is being conducted into the anti-graft body’s operating procedures when interrogating Teoh, who also fell to his death from an MACC building.

Teoh was found dead on July 16, 2009 on the fifth floor of Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam, where the Selangor MACC office had then been located.

“We view this as something very serious... it will affect the institutions of governance in the country.

“What kind of indicator is this when the MACC institution, which is in the midst of an inquiry itself, faces yet another tragedy. And then it is shown also during the inquiry that MACC officers are downloading porn in the middle of an investigation,” said Dr Wan Azizah.

She went on to describe the situation as “nasty”, adding that the today’s tragedy coupled with the testimonies given during the Teoh RCI would erode the people’s trust in the agency.

“This is an institution that is supposed to care for us. I do not think this is a small matter... we have to do something.

“MACC should take stock of what is happening. The government must clean up this mess,” she said.

Dr Wan Azizah also apportioned part of the blame of the apparent lackadaisical attitudes of MACC officers while conducting investigations to the government’s culture.

“If you are a big fish committing corruption, you have no worries. If you are a small fish, they go after you.

“If you are in a ceramah and you do not have a permit, you will be harassed.

“But if you are protected and you screen a pornographic video, you can go scot free,” she said, referring to the recent screening of a sex video purportedly featuring her husband Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and a foreign prostitute.

A ROYAL COMMISSION OF INQUIRY (RCI) ON THE ALLEGED ANWAR SEX VIDEO WOULD POSSIBLY BENEFIT NOT JUST BARISAN NASIONAL (BN) BUT THE OPPOSITION AS WELL, DE FACTO LAW MINISTER DATUK SERI NAZRI AZIZ HAS SAID.
HE SAID BOTH SIDES STOOD TO GAIN FROM AN RCI PROBE AS PAKATAN RAKYAT (PR) NEEDS A “NEUTRAL BODY” TO CLEAR ITS LEADER DATUK SERI ANWAR IBRAHIM’S NAME WHILE BN HAS TO PROVE IT DID NOT MASTERMIND THE SEX VIDEO EXPOSE.
BUT THE PADANG RENGAS MP CAUTIONED THAT BOTH BN AND PR ALSO STOOD TO LOSE IF THE ROYAL COMMISSION DID NOT FIND IN THEIR FAVOUR.
HE POINTED OUT THAT IF ANWAR IS PROVEN INNOCENT, PR WOULD GET A BIG POLITICAL BOOST AT BN’S EXPENSE WHILE THE TABLES WOULD BE TURNED IF THE REVERSE WERE TRUE.
“SO WHAT’S THERE TO FEAR, KARPAL?” NAZRI TOLD THE MALAYSIAN INSIDER AT PARLIAMENT TODAY.
“WE ALSO HAVE OUR WORRIES. SO WHY IS KARPAL SO WORRIED?”
DAP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN KARPAL SINGH SAID EARLIER TODAY THERE WAS NO NEED FOR AN RCI TO LOOK AT “INCONSEQUENTIAL” MATTERS LIKE THE SEX VIDEO AS THE 21-MINUTE RECORDING HAD NO BEARING ON NATIONAL INTEREST.
HE SAID IT WAS MORE CRUCIAL FOR POLICE TO FOCUS ON THE ALLEGED CRIMES COMMITTED BY “DATUK T” TRIO TAN SRI RAHIM THAMBY CHIK, DATUK SHAZRYL ESKAY ABDULLAH AND DATUK SHUIB LAZIM, WHO HAD ADMITTED TO SCREENING THE VIDEO.
KARPAL SAID ALL THREE COULD BE CHARGED UNDER SECTION 292 OF THE PENAL CODE AND SECTION 5 OF THE FILM CENSORSHIP ACT FOR ALLEGEDLY DISTRIBUTING OBSCENE MATERIAL AS WELL AS CRIMINAL DEFAMATION AND CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION.
NAZRI, HOWEVER, ARGUED THAT THE SEX VIDEO WAS OF NATIONAL INTEREST AS THE MAN IN IT WAS ALLEGED TO BE ANWAR, A MAN WHO WISHED TO BE PRIME MINISTER.
“WE WANT TO KNOW BECAUSE, FOR SOMEONE WHO ASPIRES TO BECOME PRIME MINISTER, HE CANNOT BE PATRONISING ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES,” NAZRI SAID, ADDING THAT THERE WAS A MORAL DIMENSION TO THE AFFAIR AS WELL.
HE ALSO TOOK A SWIPE AT PR FOR PRACTISING “DOUBLE STANDARDS”, BELIEVING THAT THE OPPOSITION PACT WOULD BE A SINGING A VERY DIFFERENT TUNE IF THE MAN IN THE VIDEO WAS ALLEGED TO BE A BN POLITICIAN INSTEAD.
“NOW THEY ARE SAYING DIFFERENT THINGS BECAUSE IT INVOLVES THEIR PEOPLE,” HE SAID.
“THEY THINK THEY’RE ANGELS.”

Nazri is the biggest joke in Malaysia and it is spreading worldwide. Everyone is talking about him and his lust not to mention his hypocrisy.

Double Standards Hypocrisy Double Standards Hypocrisy Double Standards is great when you don’t believe what you preach! Yeah, they preach it but they don’t follow their own preaching. They force the people to do one thing and they do the opposite. Punishment come fast when the people get caught but nothing happen when they are caught. What give them the moral authority with theirdouble standards?

Hypocrite or Fake Muslim?

Surprise the blog is still here? Lets just say the hypocrite assholes ruling Malaysiaare having difficulties blocking the GutterUncensored.com and lets leave it at that. The idiots running Malaysia have not been able to knock this blog off the Internet for two days now and the Malaysian people keep on coming to see the pictures of the Double Standard politician. Since they have been unable to block the blog for almost two days now, the Malaysian government was forced to run an article on The Star Online news website in an attempt to cover up for Nazri. You just know this blog is just pissing them off like hell. And no, the authors of this blog were not killed in Malaysia. But the rumors of that are pretty funny. The corrupt Malaysian government is trying to use fear to shut up people in the country, thats the way they keep things under control when the lies fail.

“Anonymous” people familiar with the politician say its not him so that is their prove. What a joke? Damn, this blog has anonymous people saying it is in fact him and these people have pictures backing up their words so the anonymous sources should cancel each other other but we still have the pictures. Maybe the pictures show his long lost identical twin brother in a compromising position with a hooker a few years back. Or better yet, it is his clone fighting with a time traveling witch on a bed in a cheap hotel room. These crazy Malaysian politician think people are going to believe anything they put in their state control media. But if you notice in the title of The Star Online article the “not Nazri” is in quotations. So you know the reporters being force to write the crap for the politicians did not believe what they were being told. Now if we only knew who they quoted. For sure it was a man with a gun. The Star Online itself is NOT saying its not him, The Star is quoting a unknown person. Here is the first draft of the article:

“Man in photo with woman ‘not Nazri’

KUALA LUMPUR: A photograph, posted on gutteruncensored.com showing a man with a woman in a compromising position, is not that of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz as claimed by the foreign blog.

One of the other photographs is, however, that of Nazri, who is shown sitting on a couch at Parliament lobby.

The owner of the blog claimed that the photographs were sent by a contributor several months ago.

Nazri declined to comment when contacted but people familiar with the politician said it was not him.”

Thanks for the link guys, we know for sure there are some good people being forced to do things at The Star Online. But a few hours later the link was removed because the idiot politicians caught on. Just think about it, why remove the link to the pictures in question if the pictures are not of Nazri Aziz. The best part is that “Nazri declined to comment when contacted” like a coward. The entire country is laughing at him and his family and he declined to comment. He lacks the courage to face the situation and the pictures that are bringing his honer in question. Lets just wonder who is the man of that family. My money is on the Heineken drinking big time player womanizing son. Nazri Aziz has some serious explaining to do to his son, one is sure that the son is not happy knowing that his father has been stepping out on his mother. And here is the final draft after several revisions of The Star Online article, this is after they remove the name and link to this website:

“Man in photo with woman ‘not Nazri’
KUALA LUMPUR: A photograph, posted on a website showing a man with a woman in a compromising position, is not that of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz as claimed by the foreign blog.
One of the other photographs is, however, that of Nazri, who is shown sitting on a couch at Parliament lobby.
The owner of the blog claimed that the photographs were sent by a contributor several months ago.
Nazri declined to comment when contacted but people familiar with the politician said it was not him.”

Note, The Star Online got the number of pictures wrong. You can look for yourself and see more than “A photograph” was posted. By saying it was one picture, they are trying to make it sound less serious. Damn, you see mistakes were made in the first two words of the article. What else could they have gotten wrong? Do not blame the people at The Star Online, the guy writing the article might have a gun at his head whiling he was writing it.

Nazri has lost his moral authority. At this point his is just bring more shame to his party and family. His hypocrisy and his lack of strength in the wake of these picture bring in question his manhood. Elizabeth Wong is more of a man than Nazri because at least she faced the media. Nazri is in hiding, he hide like a little girl under her sheet because of the monsters in the closet. If he is not the person in these pictures, why not just say so?

Wouldn’t you love to hear his stand on Sharia law right about now? What do you think he would say? Now that he has lost any moral authority to preach to the people of Malaysia. BTW, Why didn’t the article mention the Double Standards for the son? Just look at the son of the man preaching Islam. Hey, go preach Islam to your son before you preach it to others:
