He can give BN, a two-third majority, this critter can!

But you got to qualify as a hypocrite!

HYPOCRISY, SOMEONE SAID, IS PREJUDICE WITH A HALO AND I DO RECALL FRANCOIS, DUC DE LA ROCHEFOUCAULD SAY THAT HYPOCRISY IS AN HOMAGE THAT VICE RENDERS TO VIRTUE.

When appointed Speaker of the House after the aftermath of 308, he resigned as an UMNO division chief because:

"It is for the dignity of the House. I do not want to be seen as an active Umno member holding a division chief post.

"I hope to emulate the late Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tun Zahir Ismail who in his 22 years gained respect by staying away from political positions."

(Ahchewwwwww, acewwwwww.I think you know that I am allergic to bull shit.)

How insulting to Tun Zahir! How puerile to aspire to decency and fairness that were the hallmark of Tun? How presumptuous that he thought we would buy his piss-poor neutered performance! He is the SOB who would wrap himself up in the national flag and challenged us to burn him, not realizing that we would rather use the flag to hang him! Dang, but he is the anointed Speaker who speaks what is whispered to him by his handler. What more can I say about this syphilitic lancheow except hold it tight because without it, you will be the speaker turned squeaker.

I do not want to defile this posting with his name but if you just want to know how a speaker should not behave such go HERE.

See What Barisan Nasional Gotta Say?

A nation corrupted by Mahathir and cronies

We have, as a nation, been truly sold down the river of no return by Mahathir.

Change, and complete change, is the answer.

By Tunku Abdul Aziz Ibrahim

Malaysia is, ethically speaking, in dire straits.

Mahathir founded his administration on corruption, lies and subterfuge. He lied to the nation about the many schemes that were blatantly dishonest. Worse, they were criminal, such as gambling with the EPF money, your money and mine, to corner the international tin market, and later the countrys reserves to speculate on the currency market, pitting himself in the latter case against George Soros. The country lost billions.

Mahathir succeeded in planting and nurturing a culture of impunity and disinformation that, even long after he left office, has continued to flourish. Of course, the man who cut his business teeth minding a stall at the Pekan Rabu in Alor Setar during the Japanese Occupation can explain all this away by saying that whatever he did, it was done in the national interest. We have heard it all before.

Corrupt officials do not enforce the law. Our corruption has turned Malaysia into a conduit for human trafficking into Australia. When we add to this the corruption in the ruling elite, the police, the judiciary, the customs and other key institutions, we have a thoroughly ugly picture of a country fuelled and driven by ethically reprehensible behaviour.

We have, as a nation, been truly sold down the river of no return by Mahathir, who now continues to set his version of the moral tone of this country. In what capacity I neither know nor care any more. Flood or pestilence, it is business as usual. In this country, we privatise and politicise everything, including corruption.

[Can anything be done] to tak! e Malays ia back to the pre-Mahathir values? It is possible, by turfing out the present administration so that a thorough and complete review of policies and procedures, with mechanisms for checks and balances firmly put in place. All institutions must justify their existence; those no longer relevant will be closed down. Institutions rendered dysfunctional will be strengthened. The deadwood and the corrupt will be encouraged to take early retirement. Meritocracy will be the sole criterion for suitability to lead.

Transforming the administration is not only desirable, but absolutely essential to [claim our] right to a seat at the top table, among the clean nations, that will shape the future of the world.

Change, and complete change, is the answer. Malaysians must decide the kind of future they want.

I am anti-national by Najibs latest definition because I speak the truth in a foreign country about Malaysias unsavoury reputation for massive corruption. I suppose living off corruption as many of our leaders do with panache and impunity is part of being a true Malaysia.

Ibrahim Ali A Man of Hate

What is so superior about a race which cannot compete on equal terms?

By Johan Brendon

Alas it is a fact of life that every now and then we get to hear hysterical ranting from some loud mouth extremists but this uncouth man by the name of Ibrahim Ali (President of Perkasa), is beginning to get on my tits, pardon my vernacular. And it has nothing to do with the fact that he is Malay.

As in all races, there are good and decent ones and there are ghastly and obnoxious ones. Ibrahim Ali is certainly in the latter category. This man is hateful, racist, vile and most of all, mentally subnormal. I know it is ill-mannered or unprofessional to get so personal in ones criticism of a fellow human being but his absurd utterances have become insufferable. Hence, I own up and plea guilty as charged for resorting to his level in terms of the tone and language used. I hope the readers can at least empathise with the fact that there is a breaking point in each and every one of us which eventually makes us go ballistic. Indeed I am going ballistic and will therefore throw caution to the wind and be uncivil to this uncivilised man.

So let me begin with the mother of all insults. Ibrahim Ali is truly as stupid as he looks and it is hard to differentiate between his fat stunted face and a boiled fat potato. And yes, it does feel good to get that off my chest!

Having done so, we can now address the substance of my criticism. His silly and stupid remarks are not the problem per se; if he chooses to make a fool of himself, then it is his prerogative. My concern is that the racist propaganda that he obsessively espouses about Malay supremacy creates a heighten sense of chauvinistic and jingoistic pride amongst those gullible and illiterate Malays. Needless to say, in a country like Malaysia where the inhabitants are multi-cultural, multi-ethnic or! multi-r acial, it is like throwing petrol into a burning pyre. And where is the ISA when it is needed?

So, not only is it foolish of him to come up with such garbage, he seems to take pleasure in teasing and insulting the non-Malays with his divisive, racist and inflammatory diatribe. It just goes to show this so-called Muslim has no humanity, conscience and decency thus he deserves every insult he gets. All that matters to him is Malay supremacy and power - come what may and at any price.

The odd thing is that, what is so superior about a race which cannot compete on equal terms? It seems paradoxical to be supreme and yet inferior. More importantly, does he not realise that if the Malaysian economy collapses as a result of Malay supremacy (amid corruption, cronyism, incompetence etc) rather than meritocracy, the poorest of the poor Malays will be the first ones to suffer. The Malay elites with their ill gotten gains will head straight to their luxury homes overseas. Perhaps, the likes of Chief Minister Taib Mahmud can enlighten him of such contingency - absconding abroad if Malaysia should become a fail state.

The May 13 (1969) riot is not something we should be proud of especially when so many innocent people were killed because of racialism. And yet, Ibrahim Ali wants to have a museum to commemorate the bloody riot so as to educate the young. The logic of this moron is beyond comprehension.

If the people of all races in Malaysia are currently living in contentment - having equal opportunity and equal access to jobs, education and housing, then such a reminder is a useful form of deterrent; that we should not return to the bad old days of racism. But for him to suggest a commemoration of the May 13 riot while in the same breath, keep on harping about Malay supremacy, is a deliberate attempt on his part to be mischievous.

Perhaps, I have underestimated his intellect. My apologies, I will immediately retract the word intellect because it would be an insult to those who posses it - ! craftine ss is more appropriate.

His hidden agenda may be that he wants to use the museum as a threat to remind the non Malays that if they do not put up and shut up about equal rights, another May 13 event will ensue. How very shallow and transparent! Anyhow, I would like to conclude by proving that my low opinion of this mans intelligence may have a basis. With the recent hoo-hah about the Wikileaks, Ibrahim Alis astute riposte to the unfavourable remarks about Malaysia made by some Singapore Diplomats was, I am convinced that they (Singapore) are really jealous of Malaysia. I rest my case.

Nazri calls Karpal and gang 'stupid', 'crazy' and 'cow dung head'....

Minister in Prime Minister's Department Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz has described Pakatan Rakyat MPs as stupid and crazy for threatening to sue Dewan Rakyat speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia.

Commenting on legal threats by Bukit Gelugor MP Karpal Singh, Nazri, who is both de facto law minister and minister in charge of parliamentary affairs, said that the courts cannot interfere with Dewan Rakyat proceedings.

This is a crazy thing to do and I believe that it will be rejected by the courts due to parliamentary supremacy, he told reporters at the Parliament lobby today.

Nazri that there had already been judgments which clearly states that the judiciary has no jurisdiction over Parliament.

There is the sovereignty of Parliament and supremacy of Parliament. They have got cow dung in their heads. I assure you that if they take it to court it will be kicked out. What law did Karpal (Singh) read? He is a third-class lawyer, said Nazri with a laugh.

Karpal had warned that legal action would be taken against Pandikar for abusing his powers in relations to the passing of a motion to suspend Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim and three others for six months.

Karpal Singh said, We dont accept the motion. Thats the reason why we walked out. We may take it to court. There is precedence in the case of Gobind Singh where we took the Speaker, Pandikar Amin, to court.

The court has ruled that in certain circumstances, especially when the rule of natural justice is not complied, then the court has the jurisdiction. We will take it to court. The action of the Speaker is so blatant that it cannot in anyway be defended. We want a judicial ruling on that so we cant let him get away with this. We dont want this to become a precedence in future,

source:malaysiakini

Courts cannot interfere with Dewan Rakyat proceedings. But it can interfere in Perak State assembly proceeding.

The proceeding in Perak went through the court simply because BN wanted it so that BN remain in power and the courts granted BN's wishes.

Now Nazri is telling that the case will be thrown away. So another dictated BN's decision in the making. Another ketuanan UMNO show off.

The rakyat know the constitution is clear but then it was made unclear by BN's actions in Perak. Why the double standards.....

cheers.

Despite a governments tall hopes upon a NEM, a investment bank this month one after another to rate Malaysia as a big underweight in rising markets.

An underweight call is a recommendation to investors to revoke their investments in a sold security, asset class or, in this case, a country.

Malaysia managed to trim a underweight rating from over 50 per cent in Nov to 46 per cent this month though still only managed to come in second-last among a 15 countries complicated by a investment bank.

See What Barisan Nasional Gotta Say?

Drowning in the sea of irony

Among the many things which our laws prohibit young people of less than the age of majority (age of majority is 18 years old) from doing are:-

a) buy tobacco products;

b) buy alcoholic beverages;

c) enter nightclubs/discos;

d) enter into any kind of contract unless the contract is for the provisions of necessaries and scholarships;

e) cannot be owners of land or deal with land;

g) cannot be employed unless such employment is specifically allowed under the Children and Young Persons (Employment) Act 1966;

h) cannot be tried in any court other than the Juvenile Courts;

i) cannot enter internet cafe during school hours;

j) cannot be seen gallivanting around town during school hours especially in school uniform;

k) children under 16 cannot have motorbike license and therefore legally are not allowed to ride a motorbike;

l) children under 17 cannot have car license and therefore legally are not allowed to drive a car;

m) people of less than 21 years old cannot have lorry license and therefore legally are not allowed to drive a lorry;

n) people of less than 21 years old cannot vote.

In the meantime, university and college students, regardless of their age, are not allowed to participate in any political activities, according to our law. This includes being driven in any vehicle with any member of any political party - especially opposition parties - or being caught in the possession of any banner or flyers of any political party, especially opposition parties.

All these prohibitions are legally designed to protect the kids who, pre! sumably, are not endowed with the wisdom which we, the adults, have in abundance.

Yes, our kids are a protected lot.

Oh, but hold on.

In our country, children as young as 11 year old can get married, especially the girls. Fantastic. They cannot ride motorbike, drive a car, enter a nightclub, buy ciggies, drink beer or even enter an internet cafe.

BUT THEY CAN GET MARRIED. Cook for their husband. Do his laundries. Have sex with the hubby like bunnies on heat. Get pregnant. Deliver babies. Take care of the babies. Raise them up.

A 20 year old cannot even vote.

A 24 year old who studies in the university cannot even talk about politics.

But a 14 year old can get hitched and it will make big front page news of the newspaper.

And the Women, Family and Community Development Minister, herself a full blown woman, said it's okay as long as the Syariah Courts approve the marriage. Superb.

I want to ask a hypothetical question.

If the Honourable Minister had a 14 year old daughter and she is divorced from her husband, and the husband wants to marry off her 14 year old daughter, would she be okay with it just because the Syariah Court has approved the proposed marriage?

Don't laugh at me. I am serious. Apart from all these inter-faith controversies which we are now facing, where the ex husband who has converted to Islam is converting his children from, say, Hinduism, to Islam and such, another controversy will soon emerge, I am sure.

The controversy is like what I had described above. A couple has underage kids. They divorce. And one parent would want to marry off the underage kid, especially if she is a gal.

Just wait and see.

What will the Civil Court, especially our esteemed Federal Court say if that happens? Oh, I kno! w the an swer already. They will say they have no jurisdiction as it is a syariah matter.

Just you all wait and see.

Tahniah Pakatan Rakyat berjaya mentransformasikan Parlimen menjadi Pasar (Congratulations Pakatan for transforming Parliament in to a market)," Khairy pronounced upon Twitter.

But his chronicle of a story was fiercely disputed.

"That is a BN chronicle as well as it is what you will see in Utusan as well as a Star tomorrow.! We stoo d up as well as flashed placards since you were silenced. The Speaker was hyper-sensitive as well as refused to allow us to speak. We had to make use of placards. Pandikar additionally asked us to record motions if you have been unhappy, though each time you do so, a motions have been rejected. How do you ever get to do a work," Sivarasa told Malaysia Chronicle.

"The injustice contingency be made known. The citizenry contingency be told which their rights have been being trampled upon as well as a member they sent to Parliament have been being shut off in this way. Malaysia underneath BN has gone to a dogs. Even now, what they have been doing is against all reliable practice. They have not since Anwar, Azmin, Karpal as well as myself a right to urge ourselves though insist they have. Where is a 7 days notice? BN is just using might as well as a swindling of their press to pull by this cessation for their own ulterior motives."

BN 'debates' between themselves end in Pakatan-bashing

Meanwhile, left to themselves, BN MPs went by a motions of debating a move to postpone Anwar, Siva, Karpal as well as Azmin. Since they were vocalization between themselves, a 'debates' shortly incited in to an Anwar as well as Pakatan bashing session.

Anwar - a supervision is targeting us!Ibrahim Ali, a MP for Pasir Mas, stood up to say which a political shake in Malaysia is a result of Anwar's unrelenting ambition to become prime minister.

Pundits have indicted them of perplexing to manipulate a two-third parliamentary majority to validate a delination of citizens boundaries or gerrymandering forward of snap polls expected early subsequent year.

Opposition calls Speaker an Umno tool

By Patrick Lee

KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Rakyat MPs condemned Dewan Rakyat Speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia for siding with Umno against the opposition in today's quadruple suspension.

Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim (Permatang Pauh-PKR) said that Pandikar Amin had not given him a chance to defend himself after the motion to suspend him was first read out.

I did stand up (to debate) but he (the Speaker) said no one wants to debate. (He said) the same thing again before finally asking for the votes to be collected, Anwar said at Parliament lobby today.

Blaming Umno for influencing the Speaker's decision, Anwar said that Pandikar Amin was guilty of misleading the House with his comments.

He did not observe the rules and in fact tried to mislead the House by saying that he was just an observer and was not involved in the proceedings of the Rights and Priviliges Committee, said Anwar.

The Permatang Pauh MP also expressed surprise over Pandikar Amin's actions as he had known the latter to be reasonably fair and quite impartial in person.

The motion to suspend Anwar was passed after Pandikar Amin appeared to call for a vote without moving into a debate. This caused opposition MPs to vehemently protest the decision, creating chaos in the House.

Written notes

In the middle of this, Pandikar Amin was also seen receiving written notes from an unknown source. Later on, the Speaker told the House that he would invoke Standing Order 44 and suspend opposition MPs who did not comply with his orders to remain silent.

In protest to the Speaker's threat, the opposition MPs staged a walkout. Karpal Singh (Bukit Gelugor-DAP) said that Pandikar Amin's actions left Pakatan no choice but to withdraw.

We cant defend ourselves in front of somebody who is directly involved in the proceedings in both Parliament a! nd as ch airman of the committee, Karpal said.

The Speaker ought to be ashamed of himself as he is one of the worst Speakers weve ever had. There is no doubt that the Speaker has lost his moral authority to chair the proceedings."

Nasharuddin Mat Isa (Bachok-PAS) said that the Speaker was guilty of receiving instructions from Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Nazri Abdul Aziz.

"We saw the exchange of notes from the ministers table to the Speaker. It clearly shows that the Speaker failed to fulfil his duty because he is receiving instructions from BN, he said, adding that one of these directives was to issue Standing Order 44.

Political career

Asked if the suspension would affect his political career, Anwar disagreed. When (Karpal) was suspended (in September 2004), it did not affect him. In fact, he came out stronger. Similarly, some of us have been suspended before and now we have to move on, he said.

Karpal added that the suspensions would backfire against the BN and work in Pakatan Rakyat's favour.

The raykat will not accept it. We will go to the ground to explain the reasons and the circumstances under which we were suspended, he said.

He also said that Pakatan's lawmakers would be taking the suspension matter to court.

We will take it to court. The action of the Speaker is so blatant that it cannot be in anyway defended. We want a judicial ruling on that so we cant let him get away with this. We dont want this to become a precedent in the future, he said.

Anwar also echoed Karpal's sentiment on bringing the matter before the judiciary. However, he appeared doubtful of the idea.

There is that avenue. There is a precedent of the relevant judgments, but I dont see how we can proceed in maintaining the manner in which the Speaker was conducting himself as unprofessional, biased and losing moral authority, he said.

Malaysian Civil Liberties Movement is Pro-Rakyat, says Haris Ibrahim

December 16, 2010

Haris Ibrahim: We (MCLM) are NOT the Third Force but a Pro-Rakyat Movement for Reform and Change

by Regina Lee@www.malaysiakini.com

When news of a third force first broke out a few months ago in the heat of PKR direct leadership elections, many viewed it with scepticism, rather than optimism.

While some political party leaders, notably from PKR, dismissed this third force as neither a third nor a force, others even claimed that the newly-launched Malaysian Civil Liberties Movement (MCLM) meant to draw votes away from the party.

Indeed, the timing of the group has raised eyebrows and it was easy to link MCLM to the recently-concluded (and controversial) PKR elections.

However, setting the record straight is Haris Ibrahim,MCLM president who was appointed to the office in October in absentia when the committee first met in London.

In an exclusive interview with Malaysiakini, Haris dispelled myths surrounding MCLM, explaining its core objectives, its benefactors and the third force label.

Emphasing that the movement was not a political party, and had no plan to be one, Haris seemed rather embarrassed by the notion of a third force party.

I suppose when this idea was bandied about, the phrase third force was used. Unfortunately, rightly or wrongly, it has attracted some form of connotation. We consciously moved away from that label.

The third force carries an ugly connotation. If parties keep on talking about ketuanan rakyat, or Makkal Sakthi in 2007, the rakyat then is the third force. For us and MCLM to hold out as the third force, thats a joke, said the lawyer and blogger.

Fu! nded by Malaysians living overseas

When the formation of MCLM was announced by blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin, people were more surprised by the fact that the announcement was made in London.

To that, Haris said it was a matter of convenience that the forum was held at a hotel in London. Would it have made a difference if it was held in another country? There was an attempt to register the society here, but got nowhere with the Registrar of Societies. So why London? It is because thats where there are many Malaysians keen to see the idea take off the ground, he said.

MCLM, he said, is funded by a group of Malaysian diaspora with aspirations of wanting to see a better Malaysia. The candidates selected for a general election, he added, would only need to have allegiance to the rakyat.

One of the candidates is lawyer Malik Imtiaz Sarwar, whose name was announced by Raja Petra last weekend. Haris said 18 more persons have indicated that they want to join.

We dont want frog festivals like what happened earlier this year. And can you believe that people like (Kinabatangan MP) Bung Mokhtar (Radin) keep getting fielded? he asked.

They (the candidates) dont have to be loyal to us. If they later want to join PKR or Gerakan, they can go ahead.

Haris said that while the numbers in MCLM might fluctuate, many of the candidates were reluctant politicians with other commitments at hand.

Many of them need time to tell their families, wives, husbands and so on. They need time, he said when asked why only one name was unveiled.

A pool of independent candidates

But once the candidates agreed to stand for the coming general election, Haris said, they would be shadow MPs,! working on the ground in the different constituencies where the incumbents were ineffective.

These MCLM candidates would then be offered to the various political parties as electioncandidates.Yes, we will abide by the whip and we will vote with the party. But we will break ranks if the policies are not pro-rakyat. Our candidates will not just be Independents they will be independent-minded, he said.

What then happens if BN takes an interest in the MCLM candidates? Can. For that (Prime Minister) Najib (Abdul Razak) will have to table a motion in Parliament in the next sitting in March to repeal the Printing Presses and Publications Act, Internal Security Act, Official Secrets Act and the Universities and University Colleges Act.Put that into place and then well talk, he said.

Asked if push comes to shove and no one is interested in the candidates, Haris said the rakyat would be the guide on whether they should contest as independents.

We will do a poll. If the constituents like us and say that we should run, then I guess thats what well do, he added.

Child marriages: Sex education or sex miseducation?

Mariam Mokhtar, Malaysia Chronicle

When 14-year-old Siti Maryam Mahmood married religious teacher, 23-year-old Abdul Manan Othman, theirs wasnt a usually scandalous revelation involving a teacher.

That same week, an additional clergyman additionally featured in a news. He was a 30-year-old man who gave arithmetic fee as well as was arrested for "educating" a student about passionate practices. The Skudai clergyman had sodomised as well as performed oral sex upon a teenage student.

Last Aug a 31-year-old former clergyman was arrested for passionate crimes - three rape charges, a single oral sex assign as well as a single sodomy assign - opposite an 11-year-old Singaporean pupil. The underage kid reported that these incidents took place in a storeroom of a scholarship laboratory.

Parents of a victim had formerly demanded to know why roughly four months of investigations by a military were creation no progress.

Another Johore clergyman carried sex education to a brand new dimension. He was offered passionate aids as well as stimulants to pupils in his school. He came underneath military investigation usually after serious intervention by concerned relatives as he was usually primarily cautioned by a education department as well as eliminated to an additional school.

Malaysians have been familiar with a two propagandize heads who were found guilty of racism. Last November, an additional clergyman was relieved of invigilating duties when she was found guilty of creation extremist remarks opposite nonMalay students. Around that time too, a kid was churned by his clergyman for eating pig sausages in his school.

The on top of teachers have been in a news, though for a wrong reasons. Being guilty of racism or passionate crimes, is not something to be proud of.

When relatives send thei! r immatu re kids to school, or invite teachers into their homes for private tuition, they do so since they wish their immature kids to be prepared as well as to give them a great start in life.

Parents goal that schools or fee centres provide a protected learning environment, where a teachers, who play an critical role, can be trusted.

Both relatives as well as teachers teach manners as well as fortify their immature kids as well as although teacher's play a vital purpose in a child's education, a parent's responsibilty is to teach values in their immature kids though additionally to strengthen what a clergyman has taught them.

Siti Maryaam, a teenage bride declared, Marriage is a right of a particular as well as we am well-prepared to take up a duties of a wife.

I have suspicion about a responsibilities as well as a consequences of marrying during a immature age. At a same time, we have my mother to beam me upon my marriage as well as my wifely duties.

The syariah courts have been wrong to set a dangerous fashion of giving Siti Maryam permission to marry. Siti Maryams mother was wrong to permit a union. What is unsatisfactory is how nothing of a Malay NGOs have protested during this abuse of children.

Siti Maryam probably cannot confirm if she ought to do geography or history during propagandize as well as nonetheless she is supposed to keep home for her as well as her husband. Girls during that age might be menstruating though that does not meant their mental faculties have been fully developed. Most girls of that age have been still finding things about their bodies.

Siti Maryam will shortly discover how a teenage years have been difficult. She is letting herself down by restricting a possibility to have friends as well as try brand new opportunities. Apart from a miss of tutorial prospects, she is creation a amicable outcast of herself.

The Women, Family as well as Community Development Minister Shahrizat Abdul Jalil should have been some-more organisat! ion as w ell as demanded that this emanate of kid marriages be debated in parliament. The purpose of a syariah courts should additionally be underneath scrutiny. The two female syariah judges who were not long ago elected, as well as who have been probably mothers themselves, should have had larger say in a emanate of kid marriages.

At that point is Siti Maryam some-more of an adult than a child, or vice- versa? She might be a mother though is she means to work? There have been despotic kid work laws for immature kids in employment.

Siti Maryam might be allowed to stay in a hotel room or be alone in a residence with her husband, though she is not allowed to vote, or expostulate a automobile or even sign cheques or have a credit card.

She is allowed to have sex, though she cannot smoke, or even go out as well as buy cigarettes for her husband.

When she flies abroad upon her own, will she need what a airlines call Unaccompanied Young Passenger Travelling Alone service? Some airlines demarcate immature kids next a sure age from travelling but an accompanying adult.

If she were non-Malay, she would not be means to buy alcohol. If she were in a west, she would not be means to buy knives or fireworks.

Mothers around a country will be uneasy by Siti Maryams actions. What if their teenage daughter decides to abstain propagandize since as she might claim, It is my right to be a mother as well as mother?

With all a bad publicity from a little commission of teachers, mothers cannot assistance though be concerned about trust. Is their kid protected with a teacher? Many women have been wakeful that but a great receptive to advice education, their daughters will be denied opportunities to benefit utilitarian employment.

These immature kids might finish up as immature mothers. Has a syariah department statistics to uncover how most kid marriages finish in divorce as well as during what age? How most of a immature mothers died in childbirth or had complications during birth! ? How mo st immature kids did they have prior to 20?

Maybe a syariah courts have been unknowingly that these immature women will not be contributing to a economy. They will be stuck in a hold up of poverty or low-income. How do they expect these women to be part of Prime Minister Najibs high-income economy?

"The misapplication contingency be done known. The citizenry contingency be told which their rights have been being trampled upon as well as a member they sent to Parliament have been being blocked in this way. Malaysia underneath BN has gone to a dogs. Even now, what they have been doing is opposite all ethical practice. BN is just regulating might as well as a conspiracy of their press to pull by this suspension for their own ulterior motives."

Ruckus in Parliament during suspension debate

Pandemonium erupted in Parliament this morning ahead of the motion to suspend four opposition MPs, including Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar and House speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia got into an argument with the opposition leader demanding the right to respond to charges that he had misled Parliament on the issue of Apco, a Washington-based public relations agency hired by the government.

Pandikar said that Anwar was given a week to respond to the charges, sparking heated protests from the opposition bench.

Gombak MP Azmin Ali was seen waving his finger at Pandikar as opposition MPs denied that Anwar was given the opportunity to defend himself.

Today is the final day of the current session of Parliament and 11 bills to be debated have been postponed to the next sitting, expected to be in March.

An unusual number of police are guarding Parliament's gates where at least five patrol cars and more than a dozen officers were seen.

But we have been revelation Malaysians, don't be scared. This is a brand new time as well as a brand new age. Stand up for your rights as well as don't let dictators steamroll over we - they will sack a nation blind with their hurtful ways," Batu MP Tian Chua told Malaysia Chronicle.

Additionally, a House will plead a suit by a Rights as well as Privileges Committee, that endorsed Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim (PKR-Permatang Pauh) be also dangling for 6 months for indicating out a couple between a 1Malaysia judgment as well as general consulting organisation APCO Worldwide.

In a debate to Parliament earlier this year, Anwar had chided Prime Minister Najib Razak for appointing APCO as well as profitable it unreasonable fees even yet a firm's top government had clear links to a Israeli secret service.

As Pakatan MPs flashed plac! ards sin ce a mikes were turned off, BN MPs as well hurled written abuses, with Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin quick to condemn his antithesis colleagues.

"I was called by Speaker to be a 1st a debate a motion. Opposition took out placards to place during their seats. Pandemonium. Tahniah Pakatan Rakyat berjaya mentransformasikan Parlimen menjadi Pasar (Congratulations Pakatan for transroming Parliament into a market)," Khairy said upon Twitter.

But his chronicle of a story was fiercely disputed.

"That is a BN chronicle as well as it is what we will see in Utusan as well as a Star tomorrow. We stood up as well as flashed placards since we were silenced. The Speaker was hyper-sensitive as well as refused to allow us to speak. We had to make use of placards. Pandikar also asked us to record motions if we have been unhappy, though each time, a motions have been rejected," Subang MP Sivarasa told Malaysia Chronicle.

Yusri Mohammad Kata Nabi SAW dan Saidina Umar Pengikut Pluralisme Agama

from Malaysia Waves

Yusri membawa contoh ucapan Anwar bertajuk “Religion and Pluralisme in a Divided World” pada 18 Mac 2010 di London School of Economics .

Taib’s New Outrage – Taking Care of My Son by Robbing My People !

Sarawak Report

Sarawak Report has uncovered an explosive situation in Sri Aman, where we can reveal that the Chief Minister is in the very process of trying to sell off land which he gave free to his son, for a multi-Bold

million ringgit profit.

The 22,000 acres in question (8,800 hectares) is in Bijat Land District, Sungai Tisak. It is established Native Customary Rights Land belonging to Ibans, according to Sadia the Iban rights group. They say at least 15 communities will be affected by the acquisition of the land for oil palm plantation, however no warning has been given to these communities and no offer of compensation has been made.

Is this what the State Government means by “more aggressive conversion”

Local Iban people, who say that loggers moved into their area unannounced 4 months ago, have only just discovered the situation that is unfolding and they have reacted in fury. No one has informed them who the loggers are and they did not know about the involvement of Taib’s sons in plans to convert their area to oil palm!

One resident, who contacted Sarawak Report exclaimed ”Imagine they are going to make millions of ringgit and the Dayak suffer!”.

The development comes just days after Minister James Masing on behalf of the State Government informed journalists that BN is planning a “more aggressive conversion” of Native Customary Rights Lands in Sarawak to oil palm plantation. This, despite international condemnation of the destruction of the environment and the illegal abuse of the human rights of the Dayak. If they win the next election BN plan to DOUBLE the area of oil palm to 2 million hectares by 2020.

Clear corruption

It is clear who is going to make the money from this land deal and so-called ‘development’. It is not for nothing that the local people have been kept in the dark about the whole plan that was hatched in the Land Survey Department, which Taib Mahmud controls as Minister of Planning and Resource Management.

As long ago as December 2008 the land was officialy handed to Titanium Management Sdn Bhd, a company that is mostly owned by his son and a well-known business crony of his, Chris Chung, which has been involved in numerous scandals over state contracts in recent years. This large area of valuable land was given to Taib’s son in returned for an unspecified “payment in kind”! Such ‘payments in kind’ are a favourite method of doing business between the Sarawak government (run by Taib) and his own family members and it means that no payment has been properly identified. Effectively this NCR land belonging to the Ibans was given for free and without compensation, unless the Taibs can come up with a convincing explanation!

Disgraceful attempts to make a fat profit

Titanium’s Manager, the above mentioned Mr Chris Chung, is now known to be attempting to hawk the land to the Malaysian Government body FELCRA. Sarawak Report would like to ask if this is what is meant by ‘applying for Federal Government assistance to develop land in Sarawak’ that BN’s James Masing also referred to in his announcement? In which case all the Federal money will go to Taib’s son and his crony alone.

Chung is believed to be asking FECRA for at least RM 3,200 per acre, but is trying to secure RM 4,200 per acre. This would make a windfall profit to Titanium Management’s shareholders of between RM 70 million and RM 93 million! All for land they were handed for free by Daddy!

This may be a case of ’Kind Papa’ looking after his kids, but it is also a case of a cruel, ruthless and greedy despot grabbing land from his people to hand to his own already wealthy family. Taib said recently “I have more money than I can ever spend, so I leave it to my children to look after”. Why must he then continue to rob his people?

This is happening all over Sarawak and BN plans to double the land it takes

The pattern of activity here, right by the town of Sri Aman, has been repeated countless times all over Sarawak. Nicholas Mujah from Sadia, when notified of this particular case by Sarawk Report confirmed that to take Native Customary Land in this way without notification is an abuse of the law.

Indeed it is only later this morning (Thursday) that 16 Headmen are due to meet officials at the District Land Office, after being summoned just two days ago by letter. The Headmen were given no inkling in their letter of what they have been summoned for but they suspect that it relates to this removal of their land. If so the notification has come more than two years AFTER the deed has officially taken place!

On the other hand, our information suggests that Taib’s son has yet to succeed in closing his deal with FELCRA, most likely because he and his business partner have been too greedy in the price they are asking. If this is the case there may still be a chance for the Ibans to frustrate what has clearly been an illegal transaction!

In similar deals, Taib’s family have been very quick to sell on their shares and take their profits along with some shares in the subsequent plantation business. On this occasion, faced with such exposure, the buyers may feel wary of proceding.

Likelihood of a bitter battle ahead

Certainly, there is every sign that the Ibans of Sri Aman will not take this land grab lying down. Community leaders indicated, on discovering the situation today on Radio Free Sarawak, that they will fight the development. The offices of the opposition PKR leader, the human rights lawyer Baru Bian, is already handling similar land rights cases in the Sri Aman area and this one is likely to join 200 which they are now representing through the courts. Recently decisions have been going against the Chief Minister and his Government in the wake of a key ruling in the Federal Courts that recognised the land rights of the people.

Caught red-handed and in the middle of his sneaky transaction to enrich his family, this will be a particularly difficult and embarrasing situation for the Chief Minister to attempt to argue his way out of. But the likelihood is that he will as usual react by saying nothing at all!
